Actually Iowa is pretty liberal itself. Going 7 out of 8 Presidential elections to Democrats. I believe New Hampshire went red for George W at least.

I actually am concerned with the Canadian thing with Cruz, and I think it will hurt him in some crucial area in the general election.

He is not a natural in Florida, unless he chooses Rubio as a VP, so Florida or Ohio could be his downfall with a few thousand conservative constitutionalists refusing to support him.

Trump got terribly off message in Iowa. I’ve been thinking that for days. I want him to talk about borders, walls, jobs, security. Period.

I’m okay with Rubio, because I think he’s GW Bush. I voted for Bush twice, even though he tried to screw us on amnesty, got caught and pulled back, and did so-so on Scotus picks.

He’s not my first pick. I think Trump and Rubio are more electable than Cruz. The Christian Conservative won’t stay home over Rubio. He’s pro-life, he has a good testimony, and he’s against homosexual marriage. No one was more outspoken, really.

Delegate count:

Cruz - 8
Trump - 7
Rubio - 7

Not so much a winner as a tie. Remember, Iowa servers to narrow the field. If your candidate got less than 2 delegates, I would say that it is serious time to think about switching candidates.

Running ground games from 30K ft. and on the tarmac and from a venue stage in’t gonna cut it, he needs to press some flesh.

I doubt very seriously that it will be that close.

And I'll bet that yesterday at this time, you would have said you doubted very seriously that Trump would come close to falling to 3rd place behind Rubio in Iowa - but look what happened... Just goes to show that you can't take things for granted based on the polls...

Don't bet on it!

I wouldn't bet against it. There is too much time and too many contests between now and March 15th.

I don’t whine or complain I fight back with facts.

Ted Cruz = career politician
Marco Rubio = career politician

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Good point! Rush also jumped on the ‘operation chaos’ train, pushed the ‘vote Cruz to stop Trump’ deal for an hour.

The fact remains that in Iowa, they simply didn’t agree with you for the most part.

That doesn’t mean it won’t make a difference in other states once the word gets around...and it will.

So in short: You’ve not seen any of his rallies?

If you honestly believe that, you haven’t paid any attention to one-on-one national polling. Whether you like it or not, Trump’s unfavorable ratings are sitting at 57.8 percent on one poll and 60% on another - higher even than Hillary’s and the highest ever, while his favorable ratings are consistently in the mid-30s.

If Cruz and Trump could keep Rubio a far distant 3rd or worse this seals the GOPE’s fate. I think NH goes Trump, South Carolina and Florida will tell the tale for Cruz, if he wins either of those we have a brawl between Cruz and Trump the rest of the way.

Cruz should start courting Carson and Paul voters even more. Hopefully Little Jebbie will continue to unload on the Rube in NH. The Huckster and Santorum are Trumpets and bring nothing to the table for Cruz or Trump.

Actually, yesterday I thought they would finish exactly as they did. The “polls” have been up and down fluctuating constantly for several weeks. I was looking for a knuckle ball from somewhere and it came from Cruz. Dirty politics. Maybe I should call it a spitball!
Cruz is going to pay for his actions. You’ll see.
I have been worried about Rubio for some time and my posts ill prove it. He is the Establishment fall back guy since Bush has failed so miserably.
Get behind Trump or it doesn’t matter who is elected as it will be a Uniparty candidate and Washington will remain the same. Simple choice, Uniparty or Trump. Take it or leave it.

Go ahead and believe what they (the establishment)tell you to believe. If you vote from a position of fear, you always lose.

The only thing that frightens me about Trump is that he thinks - in his own words - that Hillary “...would be a great president or vice president” and that “Obama is a superstar.” Listen to him in context and in his own words - if you have the courage.

http://www.escapetyranny.com/2011/04/14/trump-called-bush-worst-president-in-history-praised-obama-and-hillary/

And that was over three years into Obama’s first term, at which point anybody with two brain cells to rub together knew that Obama was a disaster and Hillary was a disaster in waiting.

I will go with Trump because he will build the wall and get the NWO deluge of illegals into America under control. He will build our defense which has been shattered by Obama. He will bring common sense and expertise back into a government which is currently composed of greedy politicians who don’t listen to the demands of their electorate since they are too busy selling us out to the NWO.
Trump can get our economy back and I don’t care how he does it. We must have JOBS in America not pay for jobs everywhere else in the world. This country is sick. We are going down the drain and everybody is fussing over NON ESSENTIALS to our SURVIVAL as a NATION. I’m a NATIONALIST. I believe in AMERICA. Nothing else matters.

How many times do ‘smart’ people fall for this game??
