How much money did Trump borrow from Deutsche Bank?

Trump was trailing cruz 10 points in December. Trump is novice politician. Trump comes in second closely behind Cruz. Trump apparently did well compared to where he was one month ago.

Trump made the mistake of believing the polls and started lurching to the center before the actual game had even started. That is just my opinion and in the end it don't bring in anymore firewood than if I thought Trump was robbed. Speaking of robbed, the Hillary beast ain't going to take any chances of losing the nomination, again.

Cruz built the best ground game ever in Iowa and it paid off.

But I think he flipped a few thousand Carson votes with the dirty trick.

Trump did fine. 1st in N.H. and S.C. right now in polling.

But there are all these ‘last minute voters’ and the Uniparty is making Trump a non option.

I was actually worried Trump would get 10% with all sorts of tricks and low turnout against him in iowa.

It’s good that there is a lot of anger between the candidates. I worried if Trump was already in a two man race with Rubio it would be easy to rob Trump.

Trump can organize his sock draw but not his voters.

Cruz had been building his organization in Iowa for months, targeting the heavily evangelical caucus voters there. Iowa was a must win for him and he put everything on the line. For Trump to just come waltzing in and almost beat Cruz there is impressive, don’t let let anybody kid you about that.

Wouldn’t hang my hat on this and other similar stories - Cruz still needs to reckon with Trump, and so it would appear - Rubio.

The Moneyball analogy about organizing around data is spot on. Iowa is first and foremost a test of organizational skills. Cruz did well, Trump fell short.

If Cruz spins the nomination and brings his Iowa ground game against Hillary he stands a good chance of winning. If Trump does the same, he’s going to lose.

But Iowa is a learning ground as well, Trump has the money and should have the business accumen to quickly assimilate the lessons and readjust for the coming primaries.

I think that one piece of the puzzle is that “polling” is broken and can’t be trusted anymore. There are aspects of this election season that are not normal and I think it’s getting more dynamic in nature. What the campaign consultants, lobbyists, political prognosticators and talking heads used to base their knowledge on is (hopefully) changing. Perhaps they need to scrap all their algorithms and come up with some new ones?

.
My comment WRT the article, is that it is an attempt to hide the simple and obvious fact that Ted Cruz’ views are essentially Mainstream American views, and he is the logical beneficiary of America voting their gut feelings.

In the end, this is what will win the election.

The DNC and labor union leadership have known this for quite some time, and have been warning about it strongly.

This is why the MSM have been looking away from Cruz, even in articles that are about him. They are trying to make him non-existent.
