Do Not Support Trump For President
NOLAN CHART ^ | 15 February 2016 | Colonel Steven B. Vitali

Posted on 02/16/2016 6:29:36 AM PST by Col Vit

To all patriots who support Trump and who watched the Republican Presidential debate the other night in Greenville, South Carolina. I speak to you as a conservative who is as frustrated with Obama and the Republican elite establishment as you are.

That said, I am having great difficulty understanding the rational for the continued Trump support after the debate.

Do you really think that a Republican was the reason for 9/11?

Do you really believe Trump when he said Bush lied on purpose about Iraq?

Do you really believe Trump that Bush lost the Iraqi war instead of the truth which is that Bush won the Iraqi war and then Obama walked away from an Iraqi victory and it is Obama’s failures that brought about ISIS?

Trump has made charges that even the hardest of all Democrats are unwilling to make. We don’t advance and win the White House by agreeing with the Democrats in their wild conspiracy theories.

What about Trump’s stance on foreign policy? We see the impacts to our national security from Obama leading from behind. Trump’s vision is similar to Obama’s. He wants to make other nations fight our interest and wants to allow Russia to continue in its fight against the interest of the United States. Trump cannot even recognize the obvious that Russia is not attacking ISIS. Is Trump that naive like Obama? Great, the same Americans that flocked to support Obama now race to Trump with the same results being achieved.

I was giving Trump the benefit of the doubt until the other night when he quickly shed any pretense that he was anything but another liberal clone. For any conservative who supports Trump, wake up. Trump is not a conservative and no Republican should be snickered to think otherwise.

We are mutually tired and sick at our Republican Party establishment that has failed to stand up against the Obama juggernaut. Obama was elected by mainstream media that built him up to a God celebrity status. Trump is another renowned celebrity king and once again the entertainment mind-set is predominate and runs amok in our pick for our next President.

Wow, after the Obama disaster, why follow and place your dreams on a man of little statue, integrity, honor, or character to our highest office. I just don’t get it. I agree with some of the arguments of Trump, but I don’t trust his character or his integrity to follow through on his promises. Already he has backtracked. He speaks in platitudes when he is not heaving personal attacks against a fellow Republican. He has little capacity of the historical facts to take great advantage of Hillary or Bernie during a debate.

Trump incessantly speaks about his negotiation skills. Yes, we are mad as heck about our Republican leader’s failure to fight Obama, Reid, and Pelosi, but if you listen to Trump, his great asset he states is his negotiating skills with Democrats. Really? He said he would not use the Executive Privilege to force his opinions and he has repeatedly attacked conservative Republicans like Cruz for fighting against Obama. So then what can we really expect from a Trump negotiation with a potential Democrat controlled Senate after 2016? Do you really think Trump will fight for conservative principles? Keep dreaming?

Heck, think about the reality of the Supreme Court under a Trump Administration. He recently stated that former liberal Republican Senator Brown would be a good Supreme Court candidate. That said, in your heart, how do you reconcile the notion that Trump will appoint a conservative legal scholar on the Supreme Court? Please, stop being delusional and don’t place dreams upon Trump that he will not meet for a second. Go ahead and nominate more moderate to liberal Supreme Court Justices and you can kiss away your prosperity, gun rights, religious freedoms, freedom of speech, and equal justice under the law. Oh yes, you must like the abuses of the EPA, IRS, overzealous governmental regulations, etc. Keep with Trump and you are guaranteed to live your future in Obama’s transnational system.

It is time to smell the roses my friends instead of being led to the privy. Our nation cannot stand or afford another failure of a President. We cannot elect a Marxist like Bernie, a criminal like Hillary, nor another narcissist like Trump who bellows and attacks across the wide spectrum but under that false facade, there is an empty suit.

Please, let’s not bet our nation’s future on a liberal who turned conservative and then sways with the wind when it suits his interest.

The time for reflection is upon us. Do not be swayed by me, the media, or Trump’s lofty words. Think historically of what the Presidency stood for and the caliber of the man elected to that esteemed office. Obama subverted our constitution and failed the leadership test. I beseech you, do not allow yourself, my fellow Americans, to chase in vein the same pipe dream and failed entertainer leadership.

Obama and all our establishment elites on both sides of the isle destroyed our view and respect of government. Let’s not now resort to the same type of flaw character choice for President. Please do not let your short memory abate your duty to this country to elect a President who will secure and protect our liberty, our rule of law, our prosperity, and our national interest.

It was Jeb who started it in the first place by saying he’d keep the country safe, like his brother did.

Trump called him on it, and rightfully so.

No one can tell Trump anything, he’said the man and the only one who counts.

He is a winner and everyone else isn’t

Why the barbs? Shallow because I finally chose another candidate than you did?

What's wrong with you? Something's wrong with your ignorantly attacking me over this. In the meantime, back away.

Cruz has proven by his actions against the GOPe that he will stand up to the corruption in Washington, D.C. Trump has clearly stated that he can make deals with the Democrats. How can that be good.

who do you trust to name a constitutional conservative to the US Supreme Court; Cruz or Trump? There is no question that Cruz is the most reliable in that area. Trump has said his sistr would make gret Supreme Court Justice, and she is about as far leftist as they come. Probably even more left than any justice currently on the Court.

There is also Trump’s trial on RICO violations now scheduled for trial in July or August. The evidence of Trump’s racketeering activity related to Trump University is overwhelming. Trump has already had to pay one woman’s attorney fees of almost $800,000.

In addition to wha you say the Democrats will do to Trump, they will corectly be able to call him a racketeer. Trumpites may not like this ccusation, but it is the truth and it will be proven at trial. I find it interesting that Trump announced his candidacy the same month that the RICO case against him was certified as a class action.

I can’t undrstand why the other Republican candidates aren’t making a big deal out of this?

Carson and CNN are responsible. Carson not being willing to admit his campaign screw up lowers my opinion of him, and I liked him alot.

Trump is very short on specifics other than building a wall, which Cruz has been advocating for years.

We are this far into the campaign and all Trump can say is he'd surround himself with the best minds. That's exacting what Johnson did, and those best minds screwed up the Vietnam war; a war that was easily winnable if the military was allowed to prosecute the war the way required to assure victory in short order.

By this tie, Trump should be able to articulate specific plans and policies. A big problem with Trump is that he thins he is so smart he can just wing it. Trump is intellectually lazy on policy matters.

Trumpites are going to pretend this was never posted. Even if they did watch it, they would say it was a lie or tampered with. When this is brought up by Cruz, Trump will call Cruz a liar.

There is no excuse for the corrupt GOP. That is the major reson I support Cruz. He has proven he will stand up to the corruption. If he will stand up to it as a mere Senator, he will do it as President. Trump has no record of doing the same thing and argues that he can make dels with the Democrats; and just how has that worked out. Cruz won’t make deals just to get along.

Colonel Steven B. Vitali:

With all due respect, kiss my grits.

Cruz is a fraud. Rubio is a fraud. Jeb Bush is a mentally retarded fraud. We don't quite know what's wrong with Kasich, but he ain't right either.

We'll be voting for Trump. He is the only pro-American in this race, on either side.

" That said, I am having great difficulty understanding the rational "

BZZZT.

Don't know the difference in "rational" and "rationale"?

Sorry, I stopped reading right there. If the country's going to hell the guys who are most at fault get to go first.

That would be establishment Republicans, you know, those guys who talk a good game and then do jack when they get sworn into office, or worse yet take the same side as uh, those other guys.

If you think Trump is going to keep his promise, you are hopelessly naive. Trump’s entire life has been one broken promise after another; in both his personal and business lives. You really think he’d be different as President?

Trump a Rino? You know, maybe Trump is a Rino but not the way you think. I’m a registered Rep here in Florida so I can vote in the rep primay but cringe at being referred to as a republican. I think that’s the difference between Trump and Cruz folks. Cruz people are purists, they want to go run someone that’s a pure rep if just to say they have a nice, perfect republican even if it means the country falls down around them. Trump voters want someone who will do what it takes to get the groundwork paved to save the country for the future, even a rough, foul mouthed bully. Trump could do everything he says but the purists would never approve because he’s not “nice.” Even GWB used profanity regularly when he thought nobody was listening. Who cares? Stop the PC. Build the wall!

It seemed like your emphasis was on the Trump supporters, the rest sounded like an afterthought.

If that’s not what you really meant to convey, then I apologize.
