GOP Duping of America
The American Thinker ^ | Feb. 23, 2016 | Rob Cunningham

Posted on 02/23/2016 5:39:19 AM PST by RobaWho

The mild-mannered, gentle, and highly respected Byron York of the Washington Examiner, stated this morning on the Bill Bennett radio program (paraphrased): "The majority of Ted Cruz supporters I've spoken with would switch to Donald Trump if Cruz were ever to drop out of this race. But a Cruz exit would in no way benefit Marco Rubio." Marco Rubio’s campaign outspent the Cruz campaign in South Carolina by almost 2 to 1. Given the obvious anti-Cruz media bias and GOP establishment endorsements, to include Governor Nikki Haley-SC, Rep. Trey Gowdy-SC, and Sen. Tim Scott-SC, and with Rubio’s nearly 2x campaign spend, Rubio achieved merely 1,000 votes more than Ted Cruz. Let this reality sink in. What would be the equivalent cash value of all the negative, anti-Cruz “reporting” that Fox News, MSNBC and CNN “contributed” to the Rubio campaign? Ted Cruz has won the youth vote (17-29) among all the Republican candidates in 100% of the first three races -- Iowa, NH, and SC. This fact has rarely, if ever, been reported by our “friends” in the media. Marco Rubio has never beat, nor will he likely beat, Donald Trump in a three-man contest. But Ted Cruz has beaten Trump and he will again.

Most of the RNC/GOP is owned lock, stock and barrel by The Cheap Labor Express.
They have been actively working against the wishes of the people for decades.
Enabling the illegal alien inundation while giving lip service to national security.
GWB reduced border and interior enforcement AFTER 9/11.
Kay Bailey Hutchinson defunded the Secure Fence Act with an amendment in a subsequent bill.
They will burn the party to the ground rather than let us elect a President who would enforce the laws.

They are arrogant, they are far from stupid or clueless.
They have been playing conservatives for years and years.
We have only had amnesty candidates since the last amnesty.
It wasn’t accidental.

“The majority of Ted Cruz supporters I’ve spoken with would switch to Donald Trump if Cruz were ever to drop out of this race. But a Cruz exit would in no way benefit Marco Rubio.”

The GOP-e is pushing Rubio to help help Trump, IMO. Cruz is the one they fear, and they have decided that they’ll settle for Trump. The last thing they want is Cruz with a national platform speaking the truth and offering real solutions. At this point, I think the GOPe’s goal is a Trump-Rubio ticket.

Ted will have to Fight the FEC 1st!-)
FEC calling, and here’s a nice 84-page “query” on apparent irregularities in your FEC reports, including donations that facially exceed contribution limits, contributions from apparent foreign nationals and other organizations that facially appear to be illegal along with “travel” expenses that were not itemized as required.

The royalty/elite class is pushing to combine Rubio and Cruz by having Cruz drop out. This article is the counterargument, that Cruz dropping out does not help Rubio.

-- At this point, I think the GOPe's goal is a Trump-Rubio ticket. --

They are trying to figure out how to piggyback onto and get around a Trump victory, similar to how GHWB took over when Reagan's time was up. Trump knows that history, I doubt he'll repeat the mistake unless forced to.

At any rate, I agree with you. The preliminary machinations along those lines are to piggyback Rubio to Trump.

He has accountants for that stuff. But thanks for the link, interesting details, don’t know enough to know if they are common/routine sorts of violaitons, or if something serious is hiding in there. Looks mostly like common ordinary overdonation, but you’d think the campaign would be on the lookout for that, since getting caught by the FEC just makes even more work to clear up the record.

Yet another article from a Trump hater on the politics of hate. Maybe its time for these jerks to wake up and realize that Trump is leading a movement that is bigger than the man himself. He knows it, we know it. These recalicitrant Trump haters, Cruzers and Rubotos, should get a clue, get on the Trump Train, and help “Make America Great Again”.

But (isn’t there always a but) if you are going for a clean up the corruption kinda thing seems one would start at home first and insure all is in order. Also, I think one does not simply “forget” a million dollar loan from the big meanie bank from which Mrs. Candidate brings home the bacon. But (there it is again) maybe it is easy to forget a measly little million dollar loan, I have never had one.........

Bravo! You are exactly correct. The establishment is telling us who they fear the most, as evidenced by their vitriol, lies and endorsements. They fear Ted Cruz the most.
