My view: The establishment does not fear Trump. They now fear You The People behind Trump for the first time in a very long time.
They thought the March 3rd Debate would bury Trump with the 1-2-3 combo of Romney, the Cuban Luchadores and FOX. The after debate polls showed trump with a larger lead than ever.
Can you taste the Establishment's fear? It's delicious.

Naw, they don’t fear us. At least not yet. They are annoyed, a little irritated, but they know enough of us will vote Republican to give them a shot at winning the Presidency after a brokered convention gives them a rino they can work with. Look at Cochran, there is no way a Republican who voted against him in the primary should have voted for him, but enough did, and he won easily. Also, don’t forget, they will use the Supreme Court as a get-out-the-vote campaign to swage their angry base.
Yeah, Trump is going to lose to Hillary and the Democrats because he’s an unelectable clown who is just unreasonable and loud-mouthed and uneducated.
What we need is an electable candidate, one that is smart, reasonable, reserved, able to compromise, and able to bring in those Hispanics, like Mitt Romney and John McCain...

I am pro Trump and a far right republican, since that was the only political leverage I could hope to have, short of those wishers in the Constitutional party. In my humble opinion, Donald Trump is the best shot we have. It has deteriorated so far left our only hope is this quasi democrat,it has gone so far to the left thanks to the republicans in congress living up to their “stupid party” nomenclature. God help us if he loses.JFK could not be elected as a democrat today for his comment “ Don’t ask what your country can do for you, but ask what can you do for your country.” To both demo and republican rinos that would be responded to as “ Crazy talk!”

What they do is despise us. The despise that we are vulgar, uncultured troglodytes, who are to be ruled, not lived with, let alone listened to.
What they fear is the good life for them coming to an abrupt end as the people have awoken. “We the People” have seen what these elites have done to them, and are now nervously trying to thwart the impending revolution. They thought that they would be immune from the “hot civil war” that they have been quietly fomenting for nearly 100 years. The never thought it might be directed at them and their hangers on. They also thought that by the time the the masses awoke it would be too late. The shackles of slavery would be afixed permanently. What do you think the $19 trillion debt is? It puts the population into indentured servitude. It’s close to $60,000 for every citizen. Who of the bottom 50% of wage earners can afford to pay that off in their lifetimes? None.
The fear will come when “We the People” have regained control of our government, rolled back the administrative state, curtail a runaway judiciary, end the crony system, and reimpose civil order on the chaos that the elites have distracted the populace with.
