I’m at CPAC. It’s been a great experience.

Nobody is going to be listening to Glenn Beck at 5pm today. We’re going to be at the National Mall by then.

I am going to listen to Marco Rubio just as I did John Kasich, Ted Cruz and Ben Carson last night. I would have gone to hear Donald Trump this morning if he hadn’t bailed. One of the benefits is seeing the Presidential candidates. My 8 yr old daughter is having one heck of a home school field trip.

Ted Cruz had nothing to do with the planned walkout this year just as he had nothing to do with the planned walkout on Jeb Bush last year. It wasn’t successful last year, and probably wouldn’t have been this year.

If Trump avoided CPAC to avoid such a trap, after having spent $150,000 over the last several years to pave the way for today, than that says much more to me than any walkout would.

BTW, about 20 Trump supporters in a room of about 6 thousand (max capacity) walked out after trying to interrupt Sen Cruz and just prior to being escorted out by the dozens of PG County officers, and some want to make that into some counter walkout.

If so, then Sen. Cruz has more guts than Donald Trump.

If Trump decided to make a pitch for Kansas instead of attend CPAC, that understandable. If he decided the optics of addressing conservatives was too troublesome, then that’s pathetic.

I am getting tired of the slash and burn of everything conservative if it isn’t 100% in the tank for Trump. You Trump supporters aren’t going to have any conservative infrastructure left when you’re done. In the zeal to burn down the establishment, some have just turned into general pyromaniacs. What’s going to be left to rebuild when you’re done?

I would be more supportive of CPAC if they had not started compromising with the gaystapo. Still, there are many good people there. A candidate is stupid to not attend.

I read somewhere, yesterday, that Murdoch had decided to call the dogs off at FOX. The implication was that Robert Murdoch is warming to Donald TRUMP? We will see.

I think FOX had to have paid a price for their political butchery against the Republican frontrunner.

I know that MNBC ratings increased 56%, and many of us turned FOX off. Morning Joe is three hours long in the early AM, and must have accounted for a tremendous lot of that 56%, because they were never invested in killing off Trump and simply gave him neutral coverage and LOTS of camera time.

I realize that may change during the General Election, but through the primary they have been great on TRUMP.

The only reference to homosexuality I’ve seen here so far is the truck driving around outside saying our nation is being destroyed by abortion, gay marriage, and lawless judges...

Just curious, you don’t think MSNBC has an agenda in being “great on Trump” during the primaries?

I realize Fox has an agenda as well, and they might be paying a price for that, time will tell.

I just don’t want to watch news because they are spinning to me what I want to hear. It’s one of the things I like about FR, the ability to check through multiple media at once to drill through the biases. Or, at least to limit the biases by comparing and neutralizing them via contrasting sources.

The ACU destroyed CPAC long ago, as it diluted what it actually means to be a conservative. And it has nothing to do with Donald Trump.

Frankly, the fact that they would invite a non-conservative like Trump in the first place is the real tell.

A fond farewell to yet another bastion of neo-conservatism.

Between bowing to the “LogCabin” homosexuals and Ron/Rand Paul bussing in 1000’s to win their “straw polls”, CPAC is meaningless these daze.

CPAC is beside themselves that Trump refused to show up to get booed. I watched it yesterday almost all day and it was sad and boring. I’m not wasting my time on it today. Things have never been the same since Andrew Breitbart died.

One can only hope Beck gets himself banned. He’s a sad disgrace.

Strangely enough, I do not think Joe & Mika had an agenda, but can not speak for MNBC programming, generally.

MJ had already been friends with TRUMP, and since June when he announced, they preached he would be underestimated, and their first 15 minute segment was all TRUMP all the time and throughout, with his phone interviews or surrogate interviews, they all but supported him. Heck, they DID support him. Mika would have to say she would not be voting for him, but then she would defend him with all reluctant guests.

I suspect TRUMP will get BOTH of their votes and they will never tell. Joe said all kinds of Democrats have told both of them they will be voting for TRUMP, and his brother is a UUUUGE TRUMP supporter in Florida.

The “safe” programs have been MJ, and “With All Due Respect with Mark Halprin”, who gives lots of statistics and very fair analysis, and occasionally even F. Chuck Todd on his MTP Daily program has been defending Trump.

The rest are BERNIE types, mostly, over there. You just must DVR Morning Joe and see what you think. Do it for three days and get into the flow and see what you think.

I have enjoyed it so much since TRUMP announced.

Glen Beck is a drunk. He did quit for awhile. It seems he is back on the juice lately. Fox got tired of his drinking.

The dogs were back at it this last debate. Not a real policy question was asked of all, nor were all asked the questions most of us would ask a Pres candidate. I’d want to know what are you going to do to get the queers and lesbians out of our military? These lawyers talking about taxes and jobs are damn jokes. Had they taken even Econ 201 they’d know the three factors of production. This 15 an hour is breaking corporations like Walmart. There is no way fast food joints can keep paying it. I’d ask what are you going to do about foreign students being covered by our health insurance? What about illegals getting handouts like Section 8 and EBT cards? This needs to be addressed.

As a homeschool parent, can I ask you a few questions? What has CPAC accomplished? Just what is it that they have done to further the constitutional conservative cause? What have they accomplished in restoring the truths of the Constitution in our education system so that the future leaders actually know the law so that they can then uphold the law by applying the law correctly?

You know, I listen to Teddy bear say that he is going to abolish the IRS and the CPAC crowds goes wild. All I could do was shake my head in shear God fearing disappointment in the ignorance of & reaction to such a lie. Teddy bears own campaign site says they are not going to abolish the IRS, they merely are going to shrink it. So why lie? It's called crony politics which Teddy bear is very well versed in.

And so in closing, let me ask you, what kind of taxes does the IRS collect? At this time, is there a law stating that they collect anything in the way of A1,S9,C4 taxes? Have you studied the tax code so that you, as a homeschool parent can properly educate your daughter about taxes & the constitutionality of the IRS? Do you teach your daughter that all Americans must have some “skin in the game” and therefore all Americans owe a part of their private sector earnings to the government? Do you believe a ‘flat’ tax such as Teddy bear’s ‘flat’ tax on every head in the nation is constitutional so to teach that nonsense to your daughter?

From one homeschool parent to another, I would very much be interested in hearing just what it is you teach your daughter regarding the US Constitution & our system of taxation.
