TRAP was right. CPAC has caught the Me*again Kelly virus.

These chest beating nerds are full of themselves, want to change history mostly, and bring down anyone in the way of the GOPE. They also want the credit for doing so.

The desperation of Ted Cruz has led him into wayward paths.
Even just the perception of being now linked with the GOPee hurts his brand of conservatism. Reagan didn’t win in ‘76 but he didn’t go all out desperate. Ted should have kept his focus on the Washington cartel and the DemRats leftisms.
Oh yeh that Glenn Beck is an albatross around the neck too.

Yeah, CPAC is crap. I would, however, humbly submit that CPAC decided to dive into the deep end of the ordure at least as far back as 2013 when it and its owners made the conscious decision to to marginalize people who were informing us about islamic infiltration and violence. That CPAC would in 2016 accept a role in playing political dirty tricks to embarrass the only GOP candidate that has approached the subject of halting uncontrolled islamic immigration is not a coincidence.

IMO, CPAC not only jumped the shark once before, they have just circled the boat and repeated the performance. One wonders why no candidate has pointed this out, let alone condemned CPAC for their stance.

I’m at CPAC. It’s been a great experience.

Nobody is going to be listening to Glenn Beck at 5pm today. We’re going to be at the National Mall by then.

I am going to listen to Marco Rubio just as I did John Kasich, Ted Cruz and Ben Carson last night. I would have gone to hear Donald Trump this morning if he hadn’t bailed. One of the benefits is seeing the Presidential candidates. My 8 yr old daughter is having one heck of a home school field trip.

Ted Cruz had nothing to do with the planned walkout this year just as he had nothing to do with the planned walkout on Jeb Bush last year. It wasn’t successful last year, and probably wouldn’t have been this year.

If Trump avoided CPAC to avoid such a trap, after having spent $150,000 over the last several years to pave the way for today, than that says much more to me than any walkout would.

BTW, about 20 Trump supporters in a room of about 6 thousand (max capacity) walked out after trying to interrupt Sen Cruz and just prior to being escorted out by the dozens of PG County officers, and some want to make that into some counter walkout.

If so, then Sen. Cruz has more guts than Donald Trump.

If Trump decided to make a pitch for Kansas instead of attend CPAC, that understandable. If he decided the optics of addressing conservatives was too troublesome, then that’s pathetic.

I am getting tired of the slash and burn of everything conservative if it isn’t 100% in the tank for Trump. You Trump supporters aren’t going to have any conservative infrastructure left when you’re done. In the zeal to burn down the establishment, some have just turned into general pyromaniacs. What’s going to be left to rebuild when you’re done?

I would be more supportive of CPAC if they had not started compromising with the gaystapo. Still, there are many good people there. A candidate is stupid to not attend.

The ACU destroyed CPAC long ago, as it diluted what it actually means to be a conservative. And it has nothing to do with Donald Trump.

Frankly, the fact that they would invite a non-conservative like Trump in the first place is the real tell.

CPAC is beside themselves that Trump refused to show up to get booed. I watched it yesterday almost all day and it was sad and boring. I’m not wasting my time on it today. Things have never been the same since Andrew Breitbart died.
