Fox News’ Bret Baier dedicated Monday night’s “Special Report” to one-on-one interviews with Ted Cruz and John Kasich, and while a good-natured Cruz took questions about his one-time “bromance” with Donald Trump in stride, Baier’s talk with Kasich was an altogether different animal.
Kasich was awfully prickly — downright hostile at times — in response to any suggestion he wasn’t on deck to win the GOP nomination.
What did Baier say that made Kasich go full beastmode?
Baier did bring up one particular speed bump along Kasich’s road to the White House by the name of Donald Trump, to which Kasich replied, “I get along with the Trump people just fine.”
Who are you calling delusional? Kasichmentum!

This man is a complete embarrassment, a consummate RINO, and a total prick. I have never skipped an election, nor voted for a democrat, but seriously, this guy has me considering just that. This is an anti-establishment election, and if the powers that be decide THIS delusional fool is the nominee, I don’t think I can pull that lever. And this fake Mr. Nice Guy act....what the hell is that? He’s unconvincing, and won’t be winning any Oscars for his performance. Maybe it’s because I saw his little temper tantrum about the police officer that pulled him over, I don’t know.

Besides Kasich’s prickliness, and his very odd mannerisms, his hair always looks like he took a swim and immediately followed it with a nap. You would think his staff would buy some axle grease and comb him down before TV interviews. Very strange and quirky fellow (in addition to being another Big Government, “compassionate conservative” Republican).

All you Trump fans might want to go slow with the critical comments. Kasich is gonna be Donald’s VP. His role is to slow down Cruz. I’ll vote Trump in the general, but I’m pulling for Cruz for now. The only reason for Kasich to still be there is to drain votes from Cruz. I’m sure a deal has been made.

He has bragged since entering the race how he got Ohio out of debt. Uh yeah john you did by unloading you medicare costs to the Fed aka the rest of America via obamacare. Let’s see how that works for you in another couple of years when you get to pay for it all.
Kasich did well handling the inane questions from Brett Bayer and Fox News
Fox News is working overtime to boost the Washington DC establishment.
We’ll see how great that Ohio state budget is now that the price of oil (fracking) has plummeted.
I was not in the room when the deal was struck, but to my tiny mind it's the only thing that make any sense. Okay, maybe a cabinet position, but the caution remains the same.
I did notice that it took you only three paragraphs to get to the ad hominum attack. Funny, as I was only trying to help. It might be embarrassing to have your disparaging words repeated during the general campaign if Kasich is the VP pick which to me seems likely.
