Send Paul Ryan a message post card: “NO TRUMP, NO VOTE” every Monday until he listens

We’ve tried every way possible to get the message to the Republican establishment.

We have voted 7 million times for Donald Trump so far which is roughly 5 to 1 more than Ted Cruz’s vote count. In months of hard fought primaries we have dispatched the fakers and pretenders the GOPe has backed.

We have stood firm knowing we are right while the hatchet men in the “so called” conservative media have mocked us as an unwashed mob of un-initiated rubes.

We have propelled Trump to victories in 21 states or territories and rallied by the MILLIONS for him across the country. We have handed Trump victories in states as diverse as Alabama and New Hampshire. They have spent tens of millions (maybe hundreds of millions) of dollars flinging mud at Trump and we have shaken off their efforts. As has Trump.

At 65% (per Gallup) the enthusiasm for a Trump nomination is almost as high as the combined levels of enthusiasm for Ted Cruz (39%) and John Kasich (33%).

In the interest of saving the country and the Republican Party, we now need to take a more direct approach.

It is time to send a simple postcard to Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

The text on the card must be just four, clearly written words:

“NO TRUMP NO VOTE” send it to:

Paul Ryan 1233 Longworth HOB...

What good will that do? That’s exactly what they want.

They don’t want YOU to decide who’s the nominee and President. THEY want to decide by cancelling the whole nomination process and choosing their own candidate, who may be Paul Ryan himself.

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) in an interview on Monday rejected any interest in seeking the GOP presidential nomination.

“I do believe people put my name in this thing, and I say, ‘Get my name out of that,’” he said on “The Hugh Hewitt Show.” “If you want to be president, you should go run for president. And that’s just the way I see it.”

IIRC that’s what he said about the nomination for SOH too.

The guy has two mouths. One in the front of his face, the other out the back below the belt.

Good grief. FR is becoming a Hillary for President forum.

If the GOPe foolishly nominates Mickey Mouse he will get my vote. I do not believe there is any value in "teaching the Republicans a lesson". Did they learn anything from their insane promotion of RINO Romney or RINO McCain?

But the damage that will done by President Hillary or President Sanders will last for decades if not centuries.

Not me. I've held my nose and pulled the R lever for 20 years.

There is no principal more conservative than respecting the will of the voter in an election. None.

This ain't the Soviet Union. The Party doesn't get to decide. At least they don't get to decide and still earn my vote. I am done with that.

I haven't left them yet, but I've got the bags packed. It's up to them whether I stay or go, but I'm no longer just going to accept the scraps.

how ‘bout we wait until he actually gets to the 1237 threshhold first? Or is that too much to ask...you know, that he actually EARNS the nomination first?

So then we should all be pulling for Kasich since he is the only one that beats Hillary and Sanders?

Trump is good but can he win? That is the problem.

The GOPe is as much the enemy as the Democrats. Even worse because they have fooled us for so long by pretending to be conservative.

How is voting for big government East coast liberal Trump going to solve the lack of conservatives in the GOP elite?

If Trump locks it up before the convention, the nomination is his. If he fails, the process opens up. No crying at that point.

Trump or Mickey Mouse. If they have an R after their name they get my vote.

Sad to say most Trump supporters here think there is value in walking away from the Republican Party if they have the nerve to nominate the man with a Senate Conservative Voting Record second only to the great Mike Lee. That voting record apparently means nothing for someone with the nerve to let his wife work at Goldman Sachs.
