“Not in my battleground state. Trump won every county but one against a favorite son sitting Senator. Rich, low income and middle class. All Trump.”

Trump took 45% of the vote in the Republican Primary in Florida. The “will of the people”, ‘NotTrump’ took 55%.

“And Cruz? Totally noncompetitive in all the battleground states. There has not be a worse national candidate in generations. Ted Cruz will never be POTUS.”

Trump is far less competitive than Cruz in all the national polls. The Real Clear Politics average of all polls shows Trump losing to Clinton by 10.5 points. Trump loses to Sanders by 16.5 points. True, Cruz loses to both as well but the margin is closer, much easier to pick up. Cruz loses to Clinton by 2.8 points and Sanders by 10.1. If

The GOP doesn’t care, as long as they can keep doing their money mens bidding and stay in power, that’s all that matters to them.

They have the first candidate in nearly 30 years that is actually expanding the base, and they are doing everything in their power to destroy him.

With the sole exception of the Bush re-election the GOP hasn’t won a popular vote since 1992... 24 years.. and even the 2004 election it only won by about 2.5%. Their actions if they don’t wise up will cost them any chance at winning a national election for decades.

Not to mention the devastation up and down the ballot that will happen, and Republicans lose from a combination of protest votes and disenfranchisement.

I know they like to console themselves thinking that Trump supporters aren’t regular republican voters, but they need to think again.

GOP is on its way to being irrelevant for at least a generation if it keeps this nonsense up.

Sorry make that 1988.. 28 YEARS... 28 YEAR with the sole exception of a reelection, the GOP has not won the popular vote in a presidential election.

Stars could not be more aligned to break that, and the GOP is just doing everything they can to destroy it.

Insanity.

The RNC has no business hurting any of the republican candidates running, let alone spending $700 million of the party’s money which should be reserved for the general election. Each of the Republican candidates has raised money, spent their own money, spent a lot of time running for office; the RNC has no business negating that for any one, even if some candidates are smarter than others about taking advantage of the media, or spending their campaign money more effectively.

The RNC should be advising and supporting all of the candidates, and letting the voters decide which of the candidates are to be nominated. The RNC is way way way out of line! What they have done is inexcusable and unacceptable, and every last one of these Republicans who have been a party to this ought to be removed from his (or her) position!

But you Cruz people refuse to see how wrong and how terrible this, because right now your candidate is benefiting. Never mind, that he has become the creature of this corrupt establishment in the process! Never mind that you further, perhaps forever, entrench these corrupt arrogant despicable people! I cannot fathom why you cannot see this!

What surprises me about you Cruz supporters is that you have completely lost sight of what this campaign is supposed to be about, which is reining in the power of govt, ending the cronyism and the corruption in Washington, ending this massive illegal immigrant invasion along our borders, and sending a powerful message to our elected Republicans that they ignore the wishes of their voters at their peril (not to mention reversing the damage done to our constitution.) It seems all you care about is winning, no matter what you throw away to gain what will be a very hollow victory!

Somehow for you, these days, it is all about trashing Trump and seeing your candidate win, no matter how much he cheats, how much he lies, or compromises with that very establishment that we are supposedly trying to remove from office. Further, you refuse to even consider the fact that allowing Cruz to run utterly violates Article I, II, 5, of the constitution, and that this does real damage to the integrity of the constitution itself, and that somehow if we ignore this, and elect this person whose candidacy violates our constitution, whose presidency itself will be entirely illegitimate, he still will have the stature and the clout to restore the constitution. In fact, his bully pulpit will be built on sand, and made of sand. He will be a hypocrite of the first order, no one will fear him or even listen, and it will be business as usual.

Nice try. Trump got a larger share of the vote in FL than Texas Values Teddy did in his HOME STATE of Texas. Ha ha ha. That’s hilarious.

What the Cruzites never address because it is the Elephant in the room is that Cruz is pro-outsourcing of more American white collar jobs to India, primarily. He is also for vastly expanded H1B visa to force wages down as low as subsistence level because that is what Indians will tolerate as they toil away 24/7 in psychological gulag sweatshops. Trump promises to fight the globalist drive to make everyone a pathetic monkey boy servile to their perverse obsession to corner the market in everything. ALL OTHER ISSUES ARE TRIFLES COMPARED TO THIS STRUGGLE FOR SURVIVAL!!!!! Cruzites are letting themselves be distracted by side-issues. Don’t be fooled again...Vote your Wallets....the Globalists sure do!!!

Exactly! Cruz and his Goldman Sachs wife-bot are demonstrably pro-globalst-agenda of outsourcing all the high paying American jobs to 3rd world countries with billions of people willing to work for slave wages because it beats starving to death. Trump wants to reverse this and bring our jobs back to America. The American Government is supposed to represent the interests of the American People....not just the ultra-rich exploitative Americans who flaunt their obscene blood-money wealth in our worried faces everyday.
THIS IS A FIGHT FOR SURVIVAL!! Don’t be distracted by trifiling side-issues. Vote your wallet....the Globalists surely do!!

"Everywhere Trump goes he generates excitement"

And he is 'the most unpopular candidate - EVER' according to the polls. Something does not add up!

So what. These are primaries where the voters are principally republican. Less than half of less than half is not “the will of the people”.

As usual when a post is well reasoned and devastating in its exposure of the real issues and the RNC agenda, especially as it pertained to the RNC’s use of Cruz for their own ends, all one hears is crickets. Not a ripple in the pond. Thank you for your excellent post.

Senator Principled conservative is losing to the “NY Liberal” among Republicans at the ballot box. That doesn’t say much positive about his general election attractiveness.

If the “principled conservative” can’t get republicans to vote for him how is he going to get mushy moderates he needs to win an election? No chance. Not going to happen. Ted Cruz is never going to be POTUS.

After the New York primary Cruz will be mathematically eliminated. His magic number is 49 and he has zero chance and will become Teddie Kasich. Will Cruz make the “courageous choice” and suspend his campaign for the good of the country and the Republican effort to win back the White House? Ha ha ha not a chance After yet another ash kicking from Trump Lyin’ Ted will stand up and say “I’m the only one who can beat Donald Trump and I will.”

Then he will go about his new job as Romney and Rove’s errand boy. He will be assigned the job of trying to fool dullards into thinking that if he gets close to a 1000 delegates the GOPe will give him the nomination. Ha ha ha again. Dream on and keep supporting Teddie boy Mitt’s Golden Retriever who will do anything for their help to retire his campaign debt.
