Listening to Rush today, I gained a little different insight to the Republican party. As he said, it is their party and they can make any rules they want. And at this particular point it in time, their rules are to prohibit outsiders from obtaining power. Well except with money. That will buy any and all things from a politician.

I have said it all along, neither Cruz nor Trump will get the nod to run for president if it goes to contested convention. If you support Cruz or whether you support Trump, your feet are going to be pulled from underneath you come convention time. The establishment doesn’t want either and if you are saying well my buddy Cruz will get the nod, wrong again. Keep kidding yourself. The only way either one will get the nod is if Trump gets to the magical number. RNC is done but the fun thing to watch will be the moss growing on the side of the tree.
You can ask my wife (because no one else cares) but I said a few weeks ago Trump needed to regain momentum by running against both parties’ establishments.
I think it’s brilliant and exactly what he needs to remain an outsider and get democrat votes in the Fall.
