This is good in a way. I was worried Trump would listen to Reince about what to do in the general.

Insanity setting in at GOP headquarters... bad craziness before the collapse.

I very seldom ever tune into Mr. Limbaugh and when I do tune him in it's generally back off after about 2 minutes of total disgust. El Rushbo is a party hack. He's made that inordinately clear. Too bad for him and his ratings. He's going to the land of obscurity, where Beck, et al went to.

But if he said that he's correct, and it's no secret. It's their party, not the voters party, not the party of the people. Trump had to pick one of these corrupt parties to run with, so he picked the R party.

I don't think they'll be able to pull of this epic con job, but if they somehow swindle Trump out of the nomination, the R party will be dead and buried. Bet the rent. But it gets worse.

Half this country will have lost any faith and trust they had left in this system/government. And the American decline will not only continue, it will accelerate. This would be the last straw, the final insult, final fraud, the final betrayal of the people.

Trump has a few points. First, he is getting less delegates in some states he won. Regardless of whether he was ready for the fight over delegates, that’s not a fair result.

And in Colorado the decision to cancel voting so they could select the establishment candidate, is anti-voter. Again Trump may not be well positioned to play the inside game, but it’s the voters who were shut out.

I also agree with his political move of blasting the establishment.

Let’s see. Trump has 45% of the delegates with 37% of the vote and he is the one having a problem with the system?

That this his degenerate scumbag didn’t have the DECENCY and HONOR to RESIGN after the COMMUNIST in the WHITE HOUSE was reelected tells all.

Thieves all.

You are one of the few exceptions on this thread, where you are clearly pro-Trump but just as clearly not rude about Cruz (or on the other side where few are pro-Cruz without also being rude about Trump). Thank you for that civility.

Who benefits from the Trump-Cruz wars, of which many responses to this post are a part? Hillary, Bernie, Jeb, Rubio, Kasich, and others who consistently support Amnesty, who consistently support Obamacare, and who consistently support restrictions on our individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms. Decent Americans are better off with a real truce, and not just a “I’ll stop when every person who even pretends to support the other side stops” gesture toward a truce that will never happen.

The nonsense is not helping us to elect the best possible conservative in November. I want 99% or more of Cruz supporters to vote Trump, when he is nominated, even if they hold their noses. In the event that Cruz wins the nomination, I want 99% or more of Trump supporters to vote Cruz, even if they hold their noses. Offending the other side does not encourage them to vote Trump (or Cruz) in November. I cannot help wondering how many of those who stir up the Trump-Cruz wars are actually paid trolls taking Jeb/Hillary/Soros money to cause trouble - not all of them but probably enough to set the toxic tone.

I stand by my recurring statement:

Cruz and Trump are both imperfect but they agree far more than 80% of the time (see my tagline from Ronald Reagan). They should be friends and allies, and we should treat both of them as such.

Obviously he’s dumber than McCain, Romney and Cruz, who successfully navigated the intricacies of the GOP nomination process. Don’t remember all those that didn’t make it, back then, whining when their incompetence was on display for all the Country to see.

Apparently why is no student of history. He’s never heard of Truman or LBJ or Carter or Obama?

Doesn’t say much about the the Cruz fans’ education..

Priebus should have been gone after 2012.

If it takes Trump to finish the job, so be it.

Interesting that Trump has 2 Million more votes than Cruz.

Care to post Sen Cruz’s percentage of the total vote and percentage of delegates?

In the name of party civility and unity, it will take a dealmaker to step up to the plate, put his ego and ambitions aside, check his bombastic and demeaning rhetoric and agree to throw his support, and ask the same of his supporters, to work tirelessly with the nominee to defeat the real enemy, Hillary Clinton. The day after he is mathematically eliminated from achieving 1237 delegates, he should call the other leading candidate, make peace and step down from the race.

That's why I was so surprised and disappointed when I heard Cruz on Sean's show today! Despite what the polls say right now, I still believe Trump has the best chance to beat Hillary which is the most important thing! I know that many on this board want to see the end of the Republican party, but, since the alternative is a Democrat POTUS and a SCOTUS that will be liberal leaning for the rest of my lifetime, that is a result that is too terrible to contemplate.

Conservative Treehouse did a report last year how the GOPe (preTrump as I recall) was plotting with the state GOP to allow Jeb to win with 20% of the popular vote. They went about setting the table very methodically to get their favorite son nominated despite the will of the people.
Their plan has backfired big time. The people got involved.

Except that they aren’t a private club like Rush pretends. They are an integral part of our election process. They and the Democrats have crafted our laws to limit ballot access and give themselves a virtual monopoly on political power.

So this “we are just a club” bull**** that Limbaugh parrots won’t fly. It’s too late for that phony claim. This is our right to vote, and they are trying to negate it, so that only a select group of party insiders can choose who we can elect. Americans aren’t going to tolerate that crap.

“Trump is a lazy blowhard. He did not understand the process that was in place before him. Thus, he failed.

I suspect he is a stooge for the Clintons. Conservatives who vote for this guy are idiots. He is a crony capitalist Democrat.

He will not get your overpaid union job back.”

You win the dumbest post of the day award.
