And where exactly has conservatism been force in national politics in the last 30 odd years? I don’t see it. The GOP plantation brand of approved conservatism has got us exactly nowhere.
You add the pejorative of “GOP plantation” to conservative which goes away from anything conservatives believe. Yes, many Republicans have given lip service to constitutionalism and then abandoned it once in office. However, equating GWB with Obama is asinine. You won’t get error free politicians of any stripe. Paul Ryan is less likely than Nancy Pelosi to do the socialist’s bidding. He’s not at all good but his constituency are to blame and apparently they are looking to throw him out.
