Exactly why McDonald’s is circling the drain. Keep introducing more stupid products rather than focusing on the things that made you successful in the first place.
My gut says this is all for some sort of compliance with the Obama administration - McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy’s have all been undermarketing their burgers and upselling their healthier/tasteless fare to severe losses - meanwhile Hardees/Carl’s Jr. and Chic-fil-a continue to gain market share.
Some of this you can put on a matter of shifting markets but that the 3 major fast food chains can’t seem to market food properly anymore? That’s not stupidity - that’s ordered.
It might not be a bad product for a quick bit, similar to their cheese burgers. It wont work if they are looking to replace the larger big mac.
Yep. Stick to making several good products instead of many mediocre products. Also, the more inventory you have to carry for multiple products, the harder it is to meet profit margins.
Go back to the 70’s menu. Bring back hambugler. Problem solved.
Yep, the only way for McDonalds to save the day is to go to a $4.99 meal - change back from your $5. Provide a Big Mac, Fries, soda and cookie and do it quick and they might get back some business.
