Trump Will Take From Bernie

As both the GOP and Democrats trudge forward, fractures are emerging on the left as Bernie Sanders threatens to stay in the race until the end. What was once a happy-go-lucky party of communists and moderate liberals singing Kumbaya is now a mirror of the Republicans under Donald Trump. The rogue candidate threatening to demolish the status quo is a reality in both worlds. The difference is that only one of the rogues will win their party's nomination. Come November, it is becoming more and more possible that disenfranchised Democrats who oppose TPP and the pay-to-play politics in the Democratic establishment could shift their support to Donald Trump.

Opinion polls spell trouble for Hillary Clinton, before she has even locked in her party's nomination. According to Mercury Analytics, 20% of registered Democrats are willing to defect and throw their support behind Donald Trump in November.

I think this will be the success of Trump: Trump Democrats. I bet more Sanders’s supporters will go with anti-establishment Trump than with establishment Clinton. The election will not be so much about conservative vs. liberal as it will be about establishment vs. non-establishment. Trump is the ultimate outsider and his success and belief in America and values that everyone holds dear is a winning formula. Besides, Sanders, when have we last had a candidate that will talk real, not parsed?

Most Bernie supporters will stay home, but Trump only needs to pull a couple of percent in a couple key geographic areas and he wins.

Trump’s been tweeting about how the Dem system is rigged and Bernie supporters are getting shortchanged. Not asking for their vote, just stirring ‘em up. Good politics.

Unless, of course, Sanders soon drops out to be Mrs. Bill’s VP candidate.

What is great about Trump’s campaign is that it has exposed the crypto-leftist in the GOP leadership and is making Patriotic Democrats take a hard look at the communist party they now support.

Trump need to campaign heavily in COAL country.

There are a lot of people in Coal mining country that loathe the environmentalism craziness that clinton brought in his 2 terms.

And you can add to the disaffected Bern folk a new set of “Reagan Democrats”, a set of Democrats badly burned by Obama, a set of Democrats who simply cannot stomach Hillary. And then there are the now non-motivated Democrats (Hillary isn’t AA). And we haven’t even begun to talk about unaffiliated/independents.

Yep, agree. Only now with Bernie supporter stop calling Trump names and actually listen to what he has to say (some of them at least) and they will find points they can agree with. They will near none of those points from Hillary and I think they will vote for Trump after being swept up in the tidal wave of “Make America Great Again” support that they will interpret how they wish.

None of the Bernie supports I know will support Trump.
More likely they will be rioting in the streets against him.
Regan Dem, Rust Belt Dem and Independents are where the votes are.
