I think that would depend on the role that Trump wants him to play in the VP spot if he was chosen for that position.
Fair enough. Seems a lot of people want Newt as COS but maybe Newt wants VP and its that or nothing for him so Trump takes him how he can get him? Newt definitely knows his way around DC, negotiations, been around for 20+ years to be vetted. Don’t know but its fun to speculate!
That's a good comparison. I was just thinking about all those dorky quotes you hear about being VP and how nobody wants it. Trump just needs to use ALL of Newt's talents and they are many many and magnificent...
I disagree. Newt would be fine in the VP spot. He would also be very good in the Chief of Staff position.
I don’t think Newt is that much of an establishment guy. It was the establishment types who helped oust him as speaker.
And I think Trump knows how to utilize Newt's knowledge and talents to make a truly great team. Newt would not a silent partner.
Hey, I have something to share about DJT for those who don’t know him very well. I just read the last page of “The Art of the Deal” and it almost made me cry. He wrote the book in 1987. Think of it. I quote his words.

You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. Newt would do well as VP and would eviscerate any dimoKKKRAT. So if Trump chooses Newt for VP I will be behind Trump 100%. I think Newt might be better as Chief of Staff.
She and her team are having a case of the GREEN APPLE TWO STEP over running against Trump.

IMHO you are over reacting. Hillary is not that good of a candidate. Also Newt can handle the press which is a big plus.
As Trump's VEEP, he would be an unmitigated DISASTER !

I have read you posts and I do not happen to agree with all of it. We will just have to agree to disagree. If Trump picks Newt for VP I will still be 100% behind Trump.

The funny thing is you cannot come up with another VP candidate who you would like to see Trump pick. Everyone has pluses and minuses. As soon as you pick one he/her will be picked apart from all his/her past failings. Again, you have your opinions and I have mine.
