I am not at all surprised. Newt has been an adviser to Trump for many months. I expect he will become Trump’s ‘Chief of Staff’ or hold another major position in Trump’s administration.
Here are 3 off the top of my head.
1. He balanced the budget
2. Contract with America which would work this time around.
3. He does good against the press which is important in getting the administrations point across to the people.
