I think there’s sometimes so much information to digest on a daily basis, that some of our fellow freeps miss out on very important details about some politicians.
Walker made such an indelible impression here, during the time he fought the unions, that it stuck permanently in some folks’ minds.
They never noticed how cozy he got with Ryan, Romney, and Preibus, during the 2012 campaign. The guy is a bona fide water boy for the GOP establishment, but some here are completely oblivious to it.

I truly hope that Newt turns down any offer to be Trump’s running mate. He’s been around the block enough times to know that the title of VP is political house arrest.

I doubt that he wants to be VEEP; he knows that he is TOXIC and can help Trump in other ways.
I think I just saw him say something like that on Hannity’s program. He described the person who should be VP for Trump and it didn’t sound like him.

It’s true, and it was one of the things that made it hard for me to debate passant. He simply could not keep it civil, no matter how hard I steered clear of making it personal.

I sure hope he stays the course, and simply helps Trump locate a good running mate. In my opinion, Newt would be bad for the ticket, but of great benefit elsewhere in Donald’s cabinet.
