Why else would the Bush family, Romney, Lindsay Graham, and others favor electing Hillary over supporting the party nominee? Particularly when most of the positions of the presumed nominee are very close to their own state public positions (if not their actual behavior).

The best thing that could happen is for the FBI files on every politician, every political operative, every federal judge, and every journalist to be released to the public. Passport records, IRS records, NSA records, and CIA records. Let’s have complete transparency so even the densest members of the electorate will understand they’ve been played for chumps. Only with complete exposure of the leviathan will the people demand a return to limited government.

That was a good post. It puts the never-Trump faction of the Uniparty into starker relief. No wonder the dread of the Professional Political Class has been so abject toward an outsider. No telling what kind of dirty stuff Trump may uncover.

[Trump] came right out and said that you are a Clinton friend and worked for them without disclosing it. Now anybody following this exchange knows that whatever this Clinton campaign staffer says is biased from the beginning.

This is such a key point. I'd wager that fewer than 1 in 50 Americans have the slightest clue that George Stephanopoulos was a highly placed lieutenant in the Clinton White House. Even without knowing about Steffy's ongoing relationship via the Clinton Foundations, viewers are now going to filter output from this "unbiased journalist" through info they simply didn't have before Trump brought it to light, face to face with Steffy. In two sentences!

Americans take a dim view of deception. You and I know that Stephanopoulos is no more a journalist than whatever actor sits across the "desk" from infomercial fraudster Kevin Trudeau. Now, some of the rest of America knows, too.
