I have sharks do that to me every once in a while. Seriously! Big 8-9’ bull sharks.

Cut it's head off behind the gills and pushed it a few inches away so I could finish cleaning the rest...
The fish head jumped onto my thumb and bite the crap out of it... it draw blood... !

Chickens will do that too.
For all of the years I was in elementary school we lived on a farm in Georgia. My Mother kept chickens and one afternoon she decided to fix a few for dinner. She dispatch them the old fashioned way by wringing their necks. That is done by holding the chicken's head, then giving a sharp twist and jerk that snaps the neck. Mom did that and for the next 30 minutes those chickens leaped in the air over and over at least 20 or 30 feet, higher than the edge of the roof of the two story house we lived in. After 30 minutes they still were jumping a few inches off of the ground with their heads flopped over on the side of their breasts.
