Three Reasons Why the Never Trump Movement is Failing
Canada Free Press ^ | 05/18/16 | Tim Dunkin

Posted on 05/18/2016 7:02:10 AM PDT by Sean_Anthony

With these facts in view, it really is no surprise that #NeverTrump is fizzling out like a soggy bottle rocket

A few weeks ago, all the political talk was about the rise of the #NeverTrump movement, a collection of “conservative thought leaders” in the media, think tanks, lobbying circles, and other organs of the “conservative” wing of the DC establishment. Angry that they had let the GOP nomination process get away from them so that the actual people had a say this time around, they vented their anger all over the radio and television and in webzines and other online sources all across the internet. While the Never Trumpers themselves are a rather disparate mixture of Neo-Cons, rabidly libertarian Free Traitors and amnesty supporters, and hardshell social conservatives (especially of the Mormon and Dominionist variety), they all have one thing in common—no way, no how, no matter what else happens are they ever going to vote for Donald Trump, even to stop Hillary Clinton from grasping the reins of power.

4. It is a negative movement. NeverTrump. Ok, what are NeverTrump people for ? People don't like to vote for negative things if they can support something positive.

People can be on t.v. or writers but have no common sense.
Who made all these so called “political experts” political experts? They are simply resentful they cannot get their way, like grown up babies.

Kristol has always had a kind of smirky, "I'm-the-smart-guy-and-you're-not" demeanor about him.

But since Trump has managed to manhandle all of the primary candidates and is winning all the marbles, he has gotten noticeably more arrogant, smug, cocky and "my shit-don't-stink" in his belief and assumes that those he espouses his hard-line, anti-Trump rhetoric and actions to, are agreeing with his petulant position on Trump.

Trust me, Mr. Kristol, you are not resonating with anyone but your own brain and you have lost whatever luster and esteem you once may have had with the GOP electorate. Please take your jacks and ball and go away, way away.

From now on, your picture will be displayed prominently in the GOP dictionary as the very definition of a**hole.

...“conservative thought leaders"...

Apparently they failed to keep their thoughts out from under the covers.

Bill Kristol doesn’t have the respect of others that he thinks he does. He’s garbage.

100 per cent correct......but what does Kristol care?

He is a long-standing pukeneo.

They spend most of their time at the Four Seasons lounge sipping chilled Cristal and munching imported water crackers w/ room temperature Brie.....dreaming up countries they want the US to invade.

At the beginning, all 17 candidates had an equal chance to convince the voters.

Trump was the only one who closed the deal.

But, isn't the Trump movement just a "NeverHillary" movement? I mean, we could do much better than the candidate we have put against Hillary.

Bill Kristol, Mitt Romney and the overpaid fools in foreign services need to form their own damn party... They’ve worked to give the United State hellhole status and bankrupt us .. and they have NO PLACE in the Republican Party.

(1) Bill Kristol doesn’t have the respect of others that he thinks he does. He’s garbage.

And there it is. Truth.

As this "never" bull tried to get off the ground, the frustration was visible on the part of Bill Kristol, Amanda Carpenter, and that ilk.

Why couldn't the voters be smart? Why won't they listen to US, who know so much more than they do?

Hillary is just a symbol of ideological insanity, the politics of deception & personal corruption. She will still likely be replaced as the Democratic candidate.

Trump's gathering support reflects something more important; something very positive. His defense of our traditional culture and the sovereign rights of the American people--his unabashed patriotism & disdain for the bullying tactics of the Left--whether Obama, the Clintons, the New York Times, or the broadcast media--are gradually waking up an ever larger swathe of potential voters.

Trump's success is not driven so much by specific negatives, as by a positive reawakening of the American spirit.
