The Argentina of the 1940’s described in WEB Griffin’s OSS novels seems like a place I wouldn’t have minded.
I forgot to add this. The currency of Venezuela is worthless paper and most unfortunately not suitable for toilet paper of which they have naught. The real currency is the American dollar, the Colombian peso and that of Brazil or any stable currency. Venezuela has descended into a barter system unless you posses a foreign and stable currency. The dollar is king today.
Just like the old USSR.
