AP: Do-Nothing San Jose Police Hammered for Allowing Thug Riot

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — This Silicon Valley city and its police department are facing mounting complaints of a tepid and tardy law enforcement response to attacks of Donald Trump supporters after a political rally.

Videos circulating online show physical clashes occurring in front of San Jose police officers dressed in riot gear and standing stoically in a line outside the convention center where Trump spoke. Critics also complained that assaults occurred on side streets near the venue that lacked police presence.

“Potentially more could have been done,” said San Jose Councilman Pierluigi Oliverio, chairman of the council’s public safety committee.

The questions about the San Jose police response came while Trump launched a rally Friday afternoon in Redding, California, a politically conservative city 350 miles north of San Jose. Trump called those who attacked his supporters Thursday night a “bunch of thugs.”

San Jose police chief Eddie Garcia commended his officers’ response to the violence after the Thursday night rally, saying the 250 officers on hand showed “discipline and restraint.”

Can the people attacked sue the city of San Jose?.....Of course not. Police have no duty to protect citizens according to Court decisions.

Then it seems to me people can form their own protection units and patrol these venues ... if the police are don’t have a duty to do it.

The police can go home and watch on TV what is happening, since they are just going to watch ... they can do it off the clock.

Apparently, the #1 concern of the police is safety...namely, theirs.

That’s an excellent response. I encourage you to send or tweet it to the Trump campaign.

>>> Not quite the level of Kristallnacht (yet). But soon!

Just a reminder,

No Humanity Left: Trump Supporter in Wheelchair Assaulted By Protesters (May 25, 2016)

The protesters dubbed it the "Walk of shame," as people walked into the Trump rally last night in Albuquerque, NM. Police weren't doing a very good job of separating the rally attendees and the protesters, and this wheelchair-bound man got assaulted and had water bottles thrown at him.

The level of violence WILL BE escalating. THEY (the other side) is begging Trump supporters to fight back with violence to justify their own action. For now they only use Trump rhetoric as their justification.

Th dickhead S/J Mayor lacerated Donald in typical lefty fashion.....the only kind words Mayor Liccardo had were for the city’s police department.....saying they made “a few arrests” during the Trump rally (where professional agitators ere paid to attack the pro-Trump camp).

S/J Mayor Liccardo said: “San Jose police officers performed admirably and professionally,” Liccardo said, “to contain acts of violence and protect individuals' rights to assemble, protest and express their political views.”

==========================================

San Jose Police Chief has admitted to allowing Trump supporters to be attacked. Now Chief Garcia is trying to justify his decision....as an intense backlash erupts.

The official forms San Jose Police Chief Garcia filed on the incident need intense scrutiny....as well as incidence-forms signed off by the Mayor.

If L/E and/or the Mayor falsified official documents....there’s gonna be hell to pay.

Keep in mind San Jose public servants pockets huge salaries, perks and pensions.......They didn't do their job.....so paychecks, perks, and pensions need to be a major part of the discussion.

REALITY CHECK: Videos circulating online show physical clashes occurring directly in front of San Jose police officers dressed in riot gear, doing nothing, standing stoically in a line outside the convention center where Trump spoke.....assaults also occurred on unprotected side streets near the venue. “Potentially more could have been done,” said San Jose Councilman Pierluigi Oliverio, chairman of the council’s public safety committee.

In a vain attempt to cover his sorry rear, San Jose police chief Eddie Garcia commended his officers; response saying the 250 officers showed "discipline and restraint."

==============================================

Chief Garcia needs to come clean:

<><> Does he belong to violent latino sects plotting to overthrow the US govt?

<><> Do any of Garcia's family members belong to such groups? Perhaps La Raza?

><> Has Garcia ever contributed money to La Raza and like organizations?

<><> Do any of Garcia's family members have govt jobs?

<><> Ho many of Garcia's family members collect public benefits...perhaps using multiple identities?

<><> Has Garcia ever visited Central American countries on the taxpayers' dime?

L/E looking the other way as Trump supporters were attacked cannot be tolerated.. This MUST be fought at the highest level possible.

============================================

Time to open the books of tax-subsidized San Jose law enforcement agencies. What are they requesting tax dollars for? And what are they doing with tax dollars?

Taxpayers demand investigations by the following agencies commence at once:

<><> FBI -- Wire Fraud Division

<><> IRS-Fraud Unit

<><> Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General,

<><> Department of Commerce’s Office of Inspector General.

<><> DOJ's Criminal Division-- Public Integrity Section

<><> DOJ Criminal Division--Organized Crime and Gang Section.

===============================================

It is also possible that San Jose L/E official committed other federal offenses including but not limited to:

<><> Title 18 U.S.C. §1341, Mail Fraud, 18 U.S.C.§1001, Presenting a False Document to an Agent of the US Government (involves several felonies and could include forgery); NOTE falsifying official documents is the preferred criminal method to cover-up larger crimes)

<><> 18 U.S.C.§1027 False statements and concealment of facts in relation to documents required by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 and other possible offenses including civiland/or criminal RICO violations.

<><> 18 U.S.C. §§1961-68 (RICO Act)18 U.S.C. §1001 (making false Statements to Agents of the US Government),

<><> 18 U.S.C. §241(Conspiracies, collusion, aiding and abetting violations of the Civil Rights of San Jose taxpayers).

Possibly full investigations centering on RICO conspiracies under 18 U.S.C. §1962(c) could be warranted because: (1) the errant L/E personnel are (1) employed by or associated with an enterprise (2) that engaged in or affected interstate commerce and that (3) the persons operated or managed the enterprise (4) through a "pattern" (5) of racketeering activity, and, (6) the taxpayers were injured by reason of the "pattern" of racketeering activity.

Alleged Offenses could include: Violation of Title 18 U.S.C. §241 – Conspiracy Against Constitutional Rights – which prohibits in relevant part, “two or more persons (from conspiring) to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same . . .” See, 18 U.S.C. §241.

Chief Garcia was quoted elsewhere saying (in so many words) that the reason the police did not stop the Mexicans from attacking the Americans was that he didn’t want his officers to be injured.

RIGHTACKLE 44: A statement that could be used in civil and personal law suits against him and the City of San Jose.

Nice response.

The SS started out as a personal protection force and soon grew into Hitler’s political shock troop .

They did what the local police wouldn’t, beat up communists.

They also had army divisions.

That’s how it’s done

We’ve seen a lot of police forces told to let thugs and other miscreants do what they want, to whomever they want, and nothing will be done. We saw the same thing in Albuquerque, Chicago, even in Arizona it took the cops forever to start towing away cars used to block a public highway, and make a relative handful of arrests.

It is important for all to know what orders the police had and by whom the orders were given.

I am certain there are officers that wanted to prevent the violence.

There was an intent to force the supporters and protesters together. There was no intent to keep them apart.

Someone should lose their job over this, at a minimum.
