The well known conservative writer and TV commentator George Will has finally crossed the line of reason. He’s leaving the Republican Party because of Donald Trump.
It gets worse! In a recent speech, he actually hoped that Hillary would defeat Trump in the fall, which would produce gridlock in D.C.

Will didn’t leave the GOP. The GOP left him bare as it left the 98% and moved to represent the 2%. Get with it Mr Will.
George Will trashed Ronald Reagan in 1979 just like he’s doing now. Why on earth he is still referred to as a “conservative” is beyond the pale to me. I absolutely refuse to read anything he writes. As far as I am concerned he should have been commissioner of baseball he could do far less damage...

The timing of his announcement, coupled with the SCOTUS ruling on the Texas abortion clinic case, makes him look like a food. Trump is committed to conservative justices, and Hillary not.

He bloviated for months that Trump would drop out, Trump wasn’t serious, Trump would crash, Trump would implode, etc., ad nauseum. Instead, George Will failed, crashed, burned, flopped; and his predictive word isn’t worth a slug nickel.
All his current gyrations and hot air are merely wishful thinking that SOMETHING will happen to take Trump out, about which he could then lie his gluteous maximus off and claim that he knew and predicted all along would happen.
The abysmal depths of his lowlife willingness to vote for a Clinton; knowing he is aiding and abetting those who aim to destroy our nation, matters NOTHING to the selfish, mindless ols traitor. IMHO.

This is the best middle school commencement speech ever in history. This kid does the speech in all the voices of the main presidential candidates and Obama. He nails them. Every second is good, and you cannot say that about any other middle school commencement speech!

On the second tier let’s look at the worsening state of race relations, the war on the police, and the deteriorating level of civility in public discourse.

I’ve never been a Republican. I vote for them as the lesser of evils, but that’s the extent of it. I’m a social conservative with libertarian leanings.
