Former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Roger Ailes, alleging that the network’s chairman and chief executive fired her after she refused to sleep with him.
According to the suit filed Wednesday in New Jersey Superior Court, Carlson alleges that she was terminated by Ailes on June 23 after she complained about a toxic workplace environment and “rebuffed his sexual advances.”

The only reason she got a job in TV was her looks. And its the same reason she’s being booted now. The beauty queen looks have long since departed.

Why did she file suit against Roger Ailes, and not Fox News? That’s odd, since he works for Fox and is their representative - and she filed her lawsuit in New Jersey and not New York, but the alleged incidents happened in New York, where the law may be different.
She also did everything but name Megyn Kelly as being a Fox host who received favor because she (MK) didn’t complain. She alleged “other Fox News hosts received network media support and promotion” AND she complained that certain hosts received plum assignments that Gretchen wasn’t given.
She claims her show was highly rated (of course it was a snoozefest! because she doesn’t have the charisma to carry a show by herself). She also claimed Ailes gave her a terrible time slot (midday!) by giving her a show with her personal name on it.
It just doesn’t add up - and it’s obvious she means Megyn Kelly is the person who didn’t complain, thus got the rewards that Gretchen should have gotten.
She stinks now.

I think she is angry maybe she has a right to be (no matter what one thinks of her personally)
However unless there are more accusers..I don’t think there is anything to see here

Given Ailes age... I wouldn’t be surprised, particularly today where almost any comment could be construed to have a deeper and darker meaning. That said, there are older men who do say the darndest things, while thinking they’re being funny... or half-serious. Considering all the beautiful women on Fox, if Gretchen was the only one he targeted... he must prefer the cute and wholesome type.

And the English say we speak American (not English) whereas down under the gals will say "speak yank to me" because they like the accent. Sounds exotic and sophisticated, to Australian female ears.
Whether or not that includes Bostonian and Joirsey speakers too, I cannot say. The West Coast neutral American inflection (as often heard in movies and on television) drives 'em wild though (when it's not irritating them).
Having a job, being willing to work can be helpful too. So to the younger men it could be said "Go Down Under, young man", those girls can and do compete with the California versions.
