Don’t twist my words. You were the one claiming that the police were incompetent because a dozen of them were shot when you said “they can’t publicly admit that one mutant with a handgun could shoot twelve cops like that.”
All I did was to point out that the shooter was not some guy off the streets, but was a soldier. All soldiers have to get past 70 days of combat training, Navy Seal or not.
And they also have a very statist way of dealing with this by making people believe they need thousands of police officers for their own protection. If people knew how ineffective even the best police officers can be in these situations, they'd be clamoring for the right to carry their own military-grade weapons in public.
