And what exactly do you expect them to do? The military is run by the civilian leadership. All the military leaders can do is make recommendations. Congress and POTUS tell them what to do.

Obama has rifted all military leaders who wouldn't go along with his pansy ways with the troops. He has no dissent among the generals now.
