Time for Jonah Goldberg to grow up, stop kicking the floor and stop helping Clinton destroy America
The Coach's Team ^ | 8/10/16 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

Sometimes it’s hard to imagine that Jonah Goldberg actually lives in America. Reading his ravings one would think he is in a NASA space capsule, floating around the planet, blissfully ignorant of the danger we are facing. Goldberg’s fantasy dreams of a world in which only “pure conservative knights” get to save the country make it more difficult to see the clear and present danger we are in. This is a time for clarity of purpose, not demands for perfection over the serviceable.

You need to be addressed directly, Mr. Goldberg, so there can be no ambiguity:

Mister Goldberg, given the things you said in Dinesh D’Sousa’s movie, “Hillary’s America” it is really hard to understand how you could be such a foaming-at-the-mouth enemy of Donald Trump. Do you not understand that the Republican primaries are over and whichever squishy “Reach across the aisle” Republican you wanted to set up for certain defeat, he has now lost? Do you not believe that the alternative to Trump—that is, Hillary Clinton--is indeed the person of very low character you projected her to be during your appearance in the movie? Were you lying by commission then or are you lying by omission now?

You project yourself as a knowledgeable member of the media who is well versed in all the issues facing America today. Yet you just can’t seem to control the angry little child within your soul. Somehow, to make you feel superior to me (and you most certainly are not), that angry selfish alter ego must come roaring out to mock and attack Trump. It seems that neither you nor it care that these juvenile outbursts add to the chances of a Hillary Clinton presidency; something that even that silly little inner child knows would be a death sentence...

I keep wondering if there is some horrible secret about Trump that we little people don't know about.

What would make you draw that conclusion? Please look for the secret hint in your following:

What is it that makes so many insiders hate him?

Having gritted my teeth and closed my eyes in the last two Presidential elections and voted for GOP candidates that I deemed total (TOTAL!) losers, the attitude of the GOPe this time round totally (TOTALLY!) confirms my opinion.

“Insiders”

Yes, there’s the secret. More people are catching on.

Leaders without followers. They’ve hurt the country very badly. Only Hillary can cover for them and keep their policy goals in the forefront.

Can you believe one of them (Jamie Weinstein) published a column calling for a “negotiated Republican surrender” to Hillary Rodham Clinton?

Whatever it is that’s really, REALLY important to them, it’s not America, and it’s not us. That they presume to speak for Republicans, or in some cases really do, tells you what the GOP and it’s leadership is really all about.

If the loquacious Mr. Goldberg were nearly as Conservative as Donald Trump, one might be able to argue that he was simply confused. Pseudo-intellectuals often get confused--sometimes badly. But Jonah has accomplished one thing, and one thing very clearly. He has succeeded in debunking his own claim to be any sort of a Conservative spokesman.

To disparage Donald Trump, from a faux Conservative prospective, you have to demonstrate an inability to prioritize issues; you have to fail to recognize that the most basic issue in a Constitutional Republic, is what is the fundamental purpose of your Constitutional Republic.

Donald Trump gets it; Jonah simply misses the whole point of the Constitutional purpose: To put Americans first.

Would anyone argue the point?

Here, in anticipation, is the rest of my point: Trump: The Issue.

Damn the lies & Damn the liars! All In For Trump! Full speed ahead!

Leaders without followers.

Yes, now that their masks have been ripped off, they're flailing around. In their arrogance, they never anticipated this.

Can you believe one of them (Jamie Weinstein) published a column calling for a “negotiated Republican surrender” to Hillary Rodham Clinton?

I read it, it's more effective than Ipecac. I can't understand why Tucker Carlson keeps him on as "Senior Writer." I understand that his columns are usually "opinion" pieces, but Carlson seems too much invested in playing both ends against the middle. I've become less enamored of him than I used to be.

He’s the son of Lucianne Goldberg (AKA “Trixie”), who is the proprietor of her own website trying to compete with this one.

You say the magic word and you get $100. You bet your life photo: Groucho Marx groucho.jpg Does it ever gripe you to see the word `self-styled' conservatives when reading FR described? Well, what do all the self-styled conservatives supporting Hillary Clinton have in common? (Jeopardy theme song playing) OK. Here's a hint: they used to be socialists. But now they are called ..... neocons.

Look. I didn’t support trump, and I think the guy is an a-hole. I think that the ongoing vicious attacks, including all the time on this forum, on people who make the self-evident observation that trump is not a conservative, are unjust and counterproductive. That said, with the possible exception of 2004, starting in 1988I’ve dutifully voted every four years for someone I didn’t think was the best person for the job. People like Goldberg told me I had to. With every fiber of being I want trump elected because the alternative is too horrible to contemplate. I like goldberg’s work... I think he’s funny as hell. But this daily bashing on NR I just don’t understand. I don’t know what it is supposed to accomplish. Likewise the republican leaders who just can’t wait for another chance to denounce him.. One good I hope comes of all this is when trump is elected he realizes he cannot work with re establishment and smashes them into a million bits.

It was during Slick’s and Monica issues. I was new back then, and it was from Drudge’s link that I found FR. They weren’t around for much of my tenure, just a couple months after I started actual posting I think. I lurked for a while like half of 1998 and into 1999 before I got the nerve to post. They went off on their own and started their own site. Lucianne.com

Someone post this at http://www.lucianne.com ....... : )
I cannot as I have been banned from the site for posting a story with a single sentence of someone being rescue from underwater.
I am sure Lucianne Goldberg would not mind any criticism of her son Jonah.....
