Those Beretta over/unders are expensive....in the $2K to $3K range. That’s a rich man’s shotgun IMO. I’m Browning or Mossberg..... even a Benelli is too much for me.

Well, the Citori XS wasn’t cheap.

A buddy had a Benelli S/A 20, man what a *itch to clean.

Dad was stationed in Naples 1968-71. Beretta O/U’s were less than $200. Walther PPK’s were $55 (geez). Something happened when the lire went from decades long rate of 625/dollar to over 1,600 around 1980.

Still have Dad’s 5 barrel 4 gauge O/U set. Gun was made in Brescia to Beretta pattern, marked Armi San Giorgio. Total cost in 1970: $485 U.S.

I inherited Dad’s Remington 870’s; I like them better.
