"The five shot rifle, that is a standard military rifle, the problem is if you attach a clip to it that holds more shells and if you remove the pin so that it becomes an automatic weapon, and those are independent criminal offences. That is when they become, essentially, a weapon of mass destruction. The problem with handguns probably is even worse than the problem of the AR15."

This man is woefully uninformed as well as being just plain stupid. After incorrectly citing a 5-shot rifle as the standard military rifle (maybe for WWI) and then saying handguns are an even bigger threat, he brags about his own personal carry situation even offering to brandish his for the interviewer. How big of a dumbass could one Libertarian be? BTW, I'd like to know where that "pin" in my AR-15 that I could just remove to make it full auto. Frigging putz.

There are rifles that can work like machine guns if a pin is pulled. It’s stupid to do it, however. Better to aim each shot most of the time and also better suppression fire to cook them off at a slower pace.

And if you really want to scare off someone? Burn some ammo in a can. Pretty sure it’s illegal in the US, but if you are in a life-and-death struggle in wartime, it’s effective enough to hold back an entire platoon if they don’t know what you’re doing.

Just be sure to have a fuse with a long enough delay for you to reach safety.

The pin can be found under the highcall, which is next to the sling ring which is in close proximity to the non adjustable adjuster, which is on the opposite side of the warning label that’s above the doodad controller. Any questions????
