Agreed. But in defense of Reagan the amnesty had no history to learn from in our USA. Now that we have learned how amnesty attracts much bigger number of illegals, I hope amnesty never gets a second helping.
Also, Tip O’Neill and the Rats lied about building a wall, and Reagan believed them.
