Here was the first thing you heard from every journalist rushing to be among the first to tell the story. “Police shoot unarmed black man.”
Then there were other early-emerging stories, like the one that claimed the “unarmed black man” was retreating and had his hands up, but they shot him anyway. You know the media. This is what they’re hearing, it fits their narrative of racist killer cops, and more importantly, it will bring about the one thing they want more than anything else in this world: Race riots!
So off they go with the early reporting. Never mind the cops’ side of the story. Never mind if those first things you heard turned out to be true. Run with it first and keep an eye on where things go.
We know criminals are rioting.

I saw the video. An unarmed man was shot down by the police allegedly because he was “reaching” into a vehicle via an open window. Then it came out that the window was closed when the man was shot so to me it sounds like yet another story where the police shot someone without justification and then afterwards concocted a narrative to try and justify it.
If they’d just tell the truth from the start we would not have these problems.

I’d already replied to this but you understand that this is actually worse because I thought it was just the one shooting in the news and now there’s a second. This one was of a man who was reading a book waiting to pick up his kid from a school bus...and he wasn’t the suspect the police were looking for, he was just some guy who happened to be there.

He wasn’t reading a book, his sister made that story up to get more online hits while live streaming here “reactions”.
They have the gun, he wasn’t reading a book, they have dash cam videos, and there was more than one officer who verifies the actions.

I think Hillary’s comments about educating white foks after the Tulsa shooting fueled these riots.
