No, the question isn’t whether governments should ban them, but whether the state should try to interfere with such rightfully local level decisions.

Let people decide yhrough their most local governments what is right for their local situations.

Exvept tattoos can’t and don’t kill.

People don’t take out into public potentially deadly tattoos that are beyond their ability to control.

Are you ethically challenged?

No. Just reading a different article than you. Should have read it better as it contradicts itself only a paragraph later.

I got to their quote that:

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, 77 children each year choke to death in a vain, futile effort to consume hot dogs

But you are correct, if you drill deeper into the link, your stat bears out.

Don't challenge my ethics. Reading skills or choice of links, maybe.

You say “I’m not” but then go on to contradict yourself.

I see absolutely no contradiction. I do not at all disagree with a locality's right to pass dog ordinances for any breed, or for any other type of pet for that matter. This has nothing to do with the fact that I might disagree with what I see as mischaracterization of pitbulls. How I may or may not feel about a pitbull has no reflection on my ceding these types of decisions to local government.

Ghetto people use pitbulls to threaten and intimidate. it is an extension of their egos.

It’s a stand in for a gun.

Yes, accessories of the lower class, like tattoos, especially visible tattoos. Analogous to a fashion accessory.

I was supposed to be, but we ended up going back the next day for about an hour.

As we got out of the truck, a guy, presumably the drug dealer came up and asked if we seen a pit bull.

“Nope”. He said it must have been Jamal and ran off to bust up Jamal. We worked FAST!

Yes. Pit owners don’t have much common sense. They think their dog, off the leash, will obey them. Not so much. They also fail to fence their yards. My town won’t even make rules,

It is indeed a peculiar world. I think it is broken.
