I hear you. But all attempts to hold corruption accountable fails until it doesn’t. There are usually a great many attempts. You don’t see MSM letting up when all of their trifling attempts to destroy Republicans fail do you? They are relentless. The MSM can’t hide direct evidence of voter fraud. Social media will go wild with it. We’ll just have to see what they have.

I’d love to have a time machine and go 100 or 200 years into the future and read the history books for the final assessment on what this country has done to itself. Future generations will be aghast at the blindness and stupidity of many Americans.

Tired of these teased "surprises"...

They're counter-productive. (1) It gives that bad guys time to prepare for them, perhaps by putting out some more ridiculous claims about Trump (2) it's real counterproductive if the stories don't come out or they aren't as bad as the assumptions (3) it seems manipulative.

Isn't Mr. Trump denouncing Obama for announcing war plans so the enemy can be prepared? How is announcing "bad news coming" any different? Shock and awe is what works.

Same thing with photo-shopped photos of hillary. All of the real photos of hillary get lost in the shuffle.

I heard she was running a puppy mill and dogfighting ring out of her back yard at Whitehaven.

Nothing is devastating if the AP doesn’t report it.

Or the ABC, NBC, and CBS wires.

Or the other wires.

My guess is that there are perhaps six or eight national root sources — the wires and the big networks — for 90% of what the middle American voter passively receives as national and international and political news, whether this passive receipt of news comes from a local newspaper, local television news, national television news, the hourly news feeds on AM or FM radio, or from a launch page in the web browser. And these six or eight root sources have identical selections of what is reported, identical selections of newsworthy material not reported, and identical placement of facts and analysis across paragraphs one, two, three, and on to twenty.

If Rush Limbaugh or Breitbart or [name your favorite news/opinion source] was on 24/7, this conservative reporting wouldn’t come close to touching the impact of what the middle American voter receives from the vast spectrum of local and desktop outlets of the wires.

Until we topple the wires and networks, and replace them, conservatism is doomed. If Clinton fails, some other sweeter sounding Progressive will take her place.

“... go 100 or 200 years into the future and read the history books...”

Probably wouldn’t be in any language you’d recognize, even if it’s supposed to be “English.”

(WhyTF is FR so sloooow this morning?)

I disagree. Social media in all of it iterations neutralizes that monopoly. Many people only get their news from their own little self-created social networks now. The wires are significant, but are just one player in a sea of players.

Cautiously optimistic about this.

Keyword- cautious.

I’m doubtful. Unless it’s something people can watch in 2 seconds and get outraged over like a vulgarity or racial epithet, it’s going to be useless in our soundbite-driven, zero attention span culture. If endemic corruption mattered, Hillary Clinton would not be their nominee.

It’s a bit like telling your daughter not to marry the man of her dreams that is an obvious deadbeat to everyone else. Sometimes people need to learn things the hard way.

************
I enjoyed your post! It does seem like people are very resistant to changing their minds about anything. (Businesses know and exploit this human tendency.)

Usually it takes a life altering experience to motivate someone to re-think their views and habits. The application of logic is much easier, of course, but rarely explored because it takes too much effort. Objects at rest tend to stay at rest....

“Better”, in my humble opinion, would be focusing on building a wall, discussing the war on terror, and hammering the message that DT can Make America Great again!

Not this over-promised, under-delivered hype that (1) doesn’t get media time, (2) the average voter doesn’t care about or understand, and (3) makes ‘our side’ looks foolish and desperate.

Again, just my humble opinion, but I believe Wikileaks has done us more harm than good as it has taken us off the winning message.

“Nothing is devastating if the AP doesn’t report it.”

It will be if Trump calls a press conference with some heavy hitters from his team by his side.

zero attention span culture

***************

That has been carefully cultivated by the Left. It benefits them to have a populace that is not interested in, nor capable of, extended thought or critical thinking.

The length of a typical TV ad tells you how long the average person’s span of attention is. Believe me, they’ve researched it thoroughly. They also know people like to be entertained instead of informed.

Why warn the enemy? That’s like telling ISIS exactly when and where we’re going to strike. The left will just come out with another fake claim and it will dominate the airwaves. Why not just spring it on us?

Not sure what you meant by that, but Glenn Beck is ridiculous IMO. I’m just linking to what O’Keefe said. It was a rather extraordinary reddit AMA, so I thought more people should see it.
