Um, WOW: Trump Up TWENTY Points Among Catholics In New IBD/TIPP Poll
Redstate ^ | 11/3/2016 | Joe Cunningham

So, there’s a poll out from Investor’s Business Daily/TIPP that shows Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in a statistical tie. Interestingly, however, that’s not the biggest news from the poll. As the title suggest, it’s the religious breakdown of the poll that should be raising eyebrows.

Christians overall support Donald Trump a whole lot more than Hillary Clinton. Catholics prefer him by twenty points (54-34). Protestants, meanwhile, like him a wee bit more (56-34).

A few days ago, Rassmussen said that of the 88% of remaining voters, 53% are sure they will vote Trump and 43% are sure they will vote for Clinton. Trump has a 10 point advantage.

Nate silver has just said that Florida is now for Trump.

And now Catholics prefer Trump by 20 points.

There is a 98% chance now you will hear the words President-elect Trump Nov. 8th!!! Definitely by Nov. 9th!!!

So Catholics, evangelicals, but more importantly independants who decide the elections are going for Trump.

I am in FL, and like hell with Clinton win this state, if she does ten Broward county ballots all need to be looked at, especially since they have been found making out new ballots in a closed room.

A democrat voting Catholic is an oxymoron. You can not follow any remote part of Catholics and vote for democrat islam supporting retardedness.

No excuses.

My Catholic church is having a 24 hour prayer vigil starting Monday at 0900. I got the 0400 to 0500 slot Tuesday.

that 20 point catholic number is very interesting. Anyone know what the Romney/Obama numbers were with Catholics?

So proud of fellow Catholics. They’re waking up!!

I never took for granted the Great Protestant vote. They deliver the most electoral votes by far.

Catholics and Protestants voting for America and launching Trump into office!!

Wonder what was different this time,, we’re usually within 3 up or down for either candidate. But I’m glad!!

Yeah, but wait until the Catholics find out that the Pope wants them to vote for Hillary.

If this is true and holds, it would be the 2nd highest % for a Republican since 1952. Only Reagan got more in 1984 with 61% of the Catholic vote. http://www.gallup.com/poll/11911/protestant-catholic-vote.aspx

A friend says his priest told the congregation that voting for Hillary is a sin. Works for me.

Obama carried the Catholic vote, like the dems always do — closer than usual though, I think he took 51%.

Most happy to see people of Faith voting for Trump, but if Hillary wins there is no doubt she will seek retribution upon us irredeemables.

Anyone know what the Romney/Obama numbers were with Catholics?

Pew Research said it was 50 Obama to 48 Romney.
