Vanity: Barack Obama has brought the Democratic party to its lowest point since the Civil War

Posted on 11/10/2016 10:15:26 AM PST by jpl

When the afternoon of January 20, 2017 arrives, the republican party will have:

1) The Presidency.
2) A majority of the House of Representatives.
3) A majority of the Senate.
4) Almost two-thirds of all the governships.
5) Total control of the statehouses in almost two-thirds of all the states.

And it is highly likely that within the near future, we will be able to add:

6) The Supreme Court.

The above has never happened before in American history. Really think about that and let it sink in a while. And it's pretty much all because of one reason: Barack Obama and his attempt to force his extreme far-left agenda on an unwilling country.

TOPICS: Government
KEYWORDS: government; obama
Food for thought.

remember that the GOP is just half of the Uniparty. We can’t trust them to act in our best interests in January anymore than we could’ve trusted them last month.

Just imagine what they (Dems) will be dealing with when Trump has the economy growing at 4-5%, the mines are open, the rust belt is humming, jobs are abundant, infrastructure is being rebuilt, the energy sector is screaming and everyone feels proud of America once more.

Their problems are just beginning.

Well...if we can’t make it work now it’s not worth saving. There should be nothing stopping us from showing the American people that true conservatism works. If must not fail.

My commonwealth, Kentucky, was a microcosm of what went on federally, sort of.

Last year we got a Rebublican governor for the first time in a very long time. And Tuesday the R’s took total control of both of the state institutions for the first time in a CENTURY!

Bevin can go full steam ahead now.

Before this election, don't know the additional real numbers yet. Since 2009, this is how bad Obama has destroyed his party's power. The D's have lost:

12 governors

14 Senate Seats

69 US House seats

910 legislative seats across the country in every state.

I hear now it is over 1400 seats have been lost to the R's, all due to their messiah!!!LOL!!!

Yes...can’t fake out the snowflakes so easily in convincing them to accept third-world living standards. Once the millenials, et al, get a taste they won’t be so easily fooled anymore.

When Dubya had the USSC, Senate, and House, he didn’t do squat with it. Actually, to be fair, he succeeded in destroying the Republic buy blowing down the remaining barriers to total federal control, AKA, Gonzales v Raisch.

Thank Zeus Trump is not Dubya. I hope Trump the president will be of a passing resemblance to Trump the candidate.

“the rust belt is humming”

This is one of *the* key to Trump’s success. It just needs *started* ... people are realistic in the rust belt ... even *some* success will be enough for people to double down on Trump’s brand of politics.

There’s a *ton* of stuff that needs to be done and it’s not my intent to make any single one of them a priority, but Trump needs to get the Republican Party working on the 2018 Senate races like yesterday :-). Start vetting candidates NOW.

There’s a good chance of crushing the Dems in the Senate in 2018. They’ve got *a lot* of lunatics in solid red states to defend. The Dems need to be DEMORALIZED. They get loonier and loonier as they lose power.

Obama had help.

Trump was able to win in the Midwest because of the loss of automotive industry jobs because of Clinton’s NAFTA.

Obama didn’t write the PPACA, but the lack of cost control mechanisms in the PPACA caused exploding premiums.

Blacks were upset that their loved ones in the judicial system due to the War on Drugs weren’t going to be given an amnesty break but that law-breaking Hispanics were going to get a second amnesty under Clinton, so millions of Blacks refused to back Hillary.

And of course, lots of Americans were sick of the ever-more demands of the Alinsky followers.

And there was histrionic Hillary herself along with her all-too-frequent nuclear bomb blast commercials.

Iowa has the longest serving Governor in US history, Terry Branstad, but he’s had both sides of the legislature on his side for only 2 years. Now he has solid margins in both and can finally get things done. One needed thing is to start the constitutional amendment process to modify our judicial selection process, as the status quo means only lefties can be nominated even when conservatives control the rest of state government.
