I’ve said this before about this kind of situation, and I’ll say it again: I’m guessing there’s not a single STEM major in this entire group of hundreds of idiots.

Some info from the news. The protestor who was hit by the car is alive and has a broken leg. None of these lawbreakers were arrested.

The right to free speech guaranteed by the first amendment does not give one the right to infringe upon the rights of others. If protesting blocks a highway that infringes the right of others to travel freely. In that case, the protestors need to be arrested. Unfortunately, we have few so-called leaders with the stones to enforce the law.

I just said in another thread: This is not a battle of physics. It’s a battle of wills. They will eventually come across someone who has more will than they do and when that happens they’ll get a physics lesson.
