You can do it with pistol as well and miss very few by crossing your non dominate hand with your hat under your dominate hand with your pistol, same with rifle standing.

Ya miss a few but with practice .... neat range trick.

Use what I use when I’m teaching requals and go through literally thousands of rounds..... a wet-dry vacuum .
