Curious if you have specifics on this. I don’t have a problem with allowing someone to stay who was brought over as a child, grew up here, and has no tie to their home country staying, but it sounds like Obama may have broadened it beyond that?

Dreamers can be under the age of 31 and are supposed to have been here since under the age of 16 and lived here continuously for 5 years. They don’t even have to had attended school. I read reports that some were given permits that didn’t qualify because they didn’t have to give any proof of their claims since they were illegal.
I would say that if they had been here since they were young children, younger than 16, and had proof that they had been in school all the time with school records, that would be better.
