The next great sucking sound (eviction of the pseudo-science of global warming)

President-Elect Trump has pierced the veils surrounding the holy of holies wherein reside the eco-dogmatists of the EPA and the U.N. and promises the rightful return of respect to the essence of scientific research, skepticism. ... Federal agencies promoted the concept [that CO2 is an earth-destroying pollutant] and dispensed billions of dollars in lavishly funding scientists and commercial interests willing to pervert the term “climate change,” a constant feature of geohistory, into a man-made threat and a money-making commercial enterprise.

Climate computer-derived forecasts have consistently failed to match long-term climate reality. Much of the error results from the dogmatic insistence by activist researchers that the model is reality, rather than a much simplified theoretical construct. A trusting public expects the tax monies and gifts showered on universities and researchers to result in scientific reports and validated findings based on an impartial process. What did it get?

It got Al Gore putting the carbon dioxide temperature change before the global temperature change horse. It got “ClimateGate.” It got a Supreme Court that ruled that the Earth’s greenhouse gases are air pollutants covered by the Clean Air Act. It got the “carbon dioxide endangerment finding” by the EPA administrator du jour that gave legal power to the federal bureaucracy to regulate greenhouse atmospheric concentrations because they “threaten the public health and welfare of current and future generations.” It got “ethanolized” gasoline, to the delight of corn farmers, but also a gas tank brew that gives lower mileage and more net pollution. It got wind and solar power advertised as “clean and free energy sources.” It got to see the resultant mountaintop destruction of natural habitats, and the conversion of farmland into automobile fuel stock. It got to see wind turbine slaughter of eagles become a federally countenanced collateral damage cost. ...

Awesome scathing article. Great find. It should be a mustvread by every casual anthropogenic global warming alarmist. It is not new or newsworthy, but is a succinct and focused summary of the truth surrounding the AGW hoax.

OK Explain now how 90% (what you claimed) of scientists could be so wrong!!!!

The goreacle disciples can study global warming, or whatever they call it now, with private money and knowing their guesses will not result in any regulation or legislation that will require “green” energy subsidies. Take away the tax dollars and mandates these organizations would dry up like Pelosi’s eyballs.

Recently I read an article claiming the climate apocalypse being caused by a Delaware sized calving of a glacier in the Antartica.

I pulled out my trusty DWB* (Doctors Without Borders) world map and tried to put to put it in perspective. I located Delaware (about the size of a couple Texas counties) and made a mark in the Indian Ocean with the pen about the size of Delaware. I refolded the map and asked my wife to find the massive iceberg. After several minutes I had to point out the specs to her.

*I don’t give the French DWB any money despite their desperate pleadings. They always turn up on the wrong side of conflicts (leaning Muslim) and operate basically to soothe their French guilt and toot their own horns. If they were training doctors and nurses and sending them back to their native countries I might think differently.

All but two doctors/scientists had the cause/transmission of malaria wrong in the early 1900s. Teddy Roosevelt went with the two that didn’t, Walter Reed & William Gorgas, and built the Panama Canal.

Because they are snow flakes disguised as “sciencshits””. No body in their right deductive mind who is a scientist and hordes off others ever believed this swill.

I believe you meant yellow fever rather than malaria. Although they are both carried by mosquitoes, yellow fever was the main problem in Panama. It is claimed that air conditioning was a better solution than netting.

98%, get youready facts (fake as they may be) right.

Where does that 90-98% come from. Evidence?

No, read path between the seas. Malaria was the problem.

Granted that Wikipedia is not the most reliable site, but their entry for Walter Reed starts as follows: Major Walter Reed, M.D., U.S. Army, (September 13, 1851 – November 22, 1902) was a U.S. Army physician who in 1901 led the team that postulated and confirmed the theory that yellow fever is transmitted by a particular mosquito species, rather than by direct contact. This insight gave impetus to the new fields of epidemiology and biomedicine, and most immediately allowed the resumption and completion of work on the Panama Canal (1904–1914) by the United States. Reed followed work started by Carlos Finlay and directed by George Miller Sternberg ("first U.S. bacteriologist").

And Gorgas took Reed’s concepts of mosquito transmission and applied it to Panama. He was obviously dead by the time most of the Panama work even started. But they are generally lumped together as part of the solution to malaria as well as yellow fever.

The point is, they both were WAY outside the “consensus.”

No argument with that, in real science being right is far more important than any consensus. I worry about both warmism and Darwinism because any disagreement is treated as heresy and banned without argument.
