New poll shows California secession movement gaining steam

Oh please, please, please...

The dream is alive! According to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll, there are now more Californians than ever who support the idea of seceding from the United States. Dubbed the “Calexit” movement, the goal is to make California its own country, thus bestowing upon the world a happy, prosperous, California-free, America where it will be virtually impossible to elect a Democrat President.

Giving up a goodly portion of the West Coast would not be an option. Too strategically important for our national defense. Secession would make California an attractive beachhead for foreign enemies, of which a purer commie California would oblige.

If the US Army invades CA(or any other state) there are going to be huge backlashes all over the other 49.

Pure BS on the part of fake polls and the fake MSM. Look at CA county by county. Liberal RATs aka RAT Liberal vermin and illegals occupy LA, SF, and along the Coast plus their airhead leader, Moonbeam Brown, who occupies the Capitol Bldg with his cohorts who are equally as brain dead. The rest of the State isn’t as wacko. There are a lot of CA Freepers who will agree.

California imports 33% of electric power from out of state. About half the water used comes from outside California.

On the other hand, California produces 99 percent of artichokes, 99 percent of walnuts, 97 percent of kiwis, 97 percent of plums, 95 percent of celery, 95 percent of garlic, 89 percent of cauliflower, 71 percent of spinach, and 69 percent of carrots in the United States:

I may share a wish that we could do without the dead weight of California insanity skewing elections and screwing America. But for better or worse the question of secession was settled 152 years ago, in the stink of more than a half million American corpses and the blood of several times that many wounded and maimed. But if the Democrats in Sacramento, Los Angeles, and San Francisco wish to pursue this they can be sent off in the same way as their Confederate forebears. Frankly, that's how I'd prefer to see the problem of California voting patterns settled anyway. Half of our Pacific coastline isn't up for grabs.

Kalifornia, don’t go away mad, just go away. Seriously. And in a few years, after you’ve started a war with the United States, we’ll invade your little kingdom, string up the leaders, and convert the people to Christianity. Mission accomplished.

Every state has a hundred thousand symbiotic ties with every other state, starting with roads, water and energy conduits. CA’s immense water dependence alone relies on CO, UT, AZ, NV, OR and ID.

Take away Fed funds and CA dies in days to weeks.

US Army killing CA militia isn’t going to play well in Peoria. I will side with CA if they are invaded. I figure it will take a year to mass enough forces to invade CA. This is enough time for both sides to arm themselves.

That’s interesting. I dont like when generalizations are made about NY when there are quite a few areas with strong conservative citizens. I shouldn’t do the same to CA.

And unlike the brutally tough confederate soldiers who lost only because of sheer numbers, I can’t imagine the snowflakes putting up a very difficult battle.

LOL I thought the eastern part of the state was more conservative, around the mountains.
I do know however that the Marine Corps has two large Marine bases, another in San Diego, and the Pacific fleet is in San Diego as my son is a Marine out there . Saying that he can;t wait to get back east in March and out of CA.
