Happened upon a small group of protesters along First Street in Willmar this evening. Their level of ignorance is annoying, but what made my blood boil was that one of the young girls was using an actual American flag as a hijab-breeze was lifting it (never happens with usual garb) and I could see the thick stitching along stripes. I couldn't get a picture because I was driving.
She's been a very good friend of my daughter for several years, but this may be the final straw. Told my daughter to ask her if she protested when Obama did the same thing in 2011.
If this vanity post is out of line, I ask the admin to remove it. I've posted one other prayer request so I'm not an expert at the ins and outs of FR etiquette. I'm just so fed up with it all.
Did the minister mutilate her in line with Sharia?
Both the ALC and LCA Lutheran churches were conservative when I was growing up. Now it’s just the Missouri Synod.
You should quit that church too if that’s where you go.

Unfortunately, the Lutheran church has been part and parcel of the destruction wrought by immigration. They support any immigrant over any American any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
Sad to see what’s happening to young girls these days - niece’s fifteen year old daughter - very bright, in special county STEM school learning highly technical engineering and scientific subjects, raised Catholic but not attending church lately - is all into “women’s issues” - a woman’s body is her own, abortion is a woman’s right, enthusiastic viewer of the “Woman’s March” - niece tries to argue some of the points with her, but gets nowhere - the propaganda, wherever it’s coming from, is very potent......
The loony liberals are hysterically tantruming right now. Just need to give them some space and ignore them.
We do not go that church. There have been issues this year with the 14 year old. A biggie is her encouraging another homeschooler who is going through a difficult time to explore bisexuality.
It’s a Christian co-op and the mom has been very involved with the leadership team and teaching. I have a feeling they will be withdrawing soon.

ELCA. It is predictable, yet always disappointing. His wife brought their daughter to the women’s march in Minneapolis. They wore the p***y hats that a member of their church made for them.

Indeed. But the flag as a hijab made me more angry. The ELCA is pretty much an apostate church, I’m resigned to that.
I thought WELS was conservative.
Had I witnessed what you saw, I might have gotten a bit more than just angry.
WELS is also conservative.
