Today we are witnessing one of the most important events in political history. But you probably cant see it because the news is talking about healthcare, and how Ryan and Trump totally failed to get enough votes.
The real story is happening in parallel with the healthcare story, and thats what renders it invisible. Something enormous is happening that has nothing to do with anything you are seeing in the news. In fact, youll probably read it here for the first time.
Im dragging this out to see if you can guess the big news before I tell you. It is something I predicted would happen. It is something the country needs MORE than healthcare. It was, until yesterday, perceived as the biggest problem in the United States, if not the entire world.

Thank you!
Great tag line, Grampa.
Love it!!!
Obamacare is fascist. Trumpcare would have been fascist. Purge government from the marketplace before it becomes the marketplace even more.
Meh. The left may claim he’s incompetent, but he’s still Hitler too. He’s like Qadafi, or Peron or some other dictator who is also depicted as bumbling. I don’t agree with the theory of this article.
That’s a good “clue for us all”...

A bit of looking back....
As a younger version of me living in Hollywood, I was listening to KHJ one Saturday afternoon. They were playing every track from a new double album with someone describing the song and the studio where it was recorded.
The album being played was the “White Album”.
The in-studio guest discussing each track? George Harrison.

Pelosi is much worse than dumb. I have always figured that some people are dumb but not crazy and some people are crazy but not dumb, Pelosi is utterly stupid steeped in craziness.
That naturally leaves me to wonder, what kind of world is this where something as worthless as Nancy Pelosi becomes rich, is elected to congress, becomes speaker of the house! I thought they told me the cream was supposed to rise to the top.
I know exactly how you feel. If it is any consolation we are not the only ones to wonder about this. The great economist/philosopher Friedrich von Hayek wrote about it in his book the Road to Serfdom. As a German speaker it was easier for him to understand since the word for foam and scum is the same word in German; thus his conclusion that the "scum/foam always rises to the top".
