Sen. Isakson (R.,GA), who was the only senator to not vote, is 72 years old and has Parkinson's Disease. This may be the reason for the no-show.

My neighbor has this affliction and it's progressively disabling. His wife has just called in for hospice. It's an awful disease, and I'll pray for Sen. Isakson.
