Just one cop or White guy "clinging to his guns and Bible" to step over the line and BADA BING! they got their martyr. Then it's time to get the flowers wreaths and teddy bears for the makeshift memorial. Organize the candlelight vigil. Call out the grief counsellors. A**hole celebrities sending out their mindless tweets. Family attorneys holding conferences surrounded by grieving family members holding pictures of the "victim " typically dressed up in a cap and gown or Sunday best. Then the hack politicians do their photo ops talking BS about the need for more meaningless gun control and stronger hate crimes legislation. And let's not forget the talking heads at MSNBC, CNN, NPR, etc lamenting how Trump brought a coarseness,divisiveness and nastiness to political discourse, as if there's ever been a genuine modicum of decorum in politics to begin with. So, who's the unwitting snowflake who will literally take a bullet for the team?

There is a lot of truth in this article, no doubt about it.

But there is an “on the other hand”, and here it is, in my humble opinion:

This weekend the left tried to gin up national outrage over Trump’s tax returns. Not only was it a monumental flop on just about every level (the Battle of Berkeley notwithstanding), but the whole issue represents, to me, an incredible scraping-of-the-bottom-of-the-barrel, a barrel that they tried to scrape about 6 months ago with this issue and now they dragging it out again, because, quite frankly, THEY’VE GOT NOTHING AND THEY KNOW IT.

The economy is improving and America’s position in the world is improving and government regulations are getting scrapped and we have a new supreme court justice and gun grabbers are stopped and global warming hoaxters are stopped, and illegal immigration is down and muslim “refugees” are being deported... And the left is whining and moaning about Trumps tax returns and have completely dropped the “Russians stole the election” charge.

If that’s not the most sad pathetic thing we’ve ever seen in politics, I don’t know what is.

So not to say Greenfield is wrong — I recognize his greatness as a political thinker — I just want to say... On The Other Hand...

There is no question but that the` so-called “antifa” is a communist front organization. The most harrowing aspect is the nearly 50% sympathy it receives from the general population. This will change as it is unmasked. Tear down the shibboleths of the left and they will reveal themselves as true fascists.
Trump has got this. He does not attack the violent children directly. He disarms them by taking away their issues. As they become more enraged by their own impotence the sympathy they have received from the bleeding heart old women brigades will whither. (The secret love of the OWB is DT. I have struggled with this. They certainly are ideologues and statists. If fascism is defined as totalitarian they are fascists. There is a form of fascism that is constitutional. No one seems willing to accept that banner.
