This level of tech is already old...

“Throw in Seals and Marines for the troops.”
Delta paved the way in this department.

That pulse contrail looks like that associated with Project Aurora 1997...the triangular orbital air/space craft.

You form a navy when you have ships. You dont form a navy when you have canoes or the idea of ships. Correct. Think about that.

I served in the USAF with space cadets in 1973. The services were full of them.

I saw a strange aircraft around 1980 give or take.
I was visiting my parents who lived near the edge of the Eglin AFB reservation. It was common to see various planes flying around and also doing bombing runs as there was a bombing range nearby.
One evening it was almost dark and I was walking near the edge of the woods. I saw a jet fly over, not very high. I only got a short look and it was a bit dark but what I saw looked just like the model airplane kits which were supposed to be the stealth fighter.
It turned out they in fact looked nothing like the real F-117. On the other hand I saw a plane that looked like nothing I have ever seen before of since. Totally rounded wings.
The fact that they were flying it at night over an area unlikely to have people makes me think it was an experimental plane which may or may not have ever been produced.

The front looks right but it flew almost right over me. I would have to see it from the bottom.

...You form a navy when you have ships. You dont form a navy when you have canoes or the idea of ships... We already have lots of assets in space.
This is not an idea for ships full of fighting men, it is bringing all of our space-based assets under one command.
You see a boondoggle, I see increased efficiency from one overall command with knowledge of all national capabilities and the ability to share instead of duplicating resources.

How can you have a “navy” where there is no water?
