CA GOP Swamp Sells Out to Dems on Corrupt Cap and Trade
Canada Free Press ^ | 07/20/17 | Katy Grimes

As the California Legislature voted Monday to extend the corrupt Cap and Trade taxing and regulatory program by 10 years, eight turncoat Republican legislators voted with the Democrats. They received support from the California Chamber of Commerce, the California Manufacturing and Technology Association, along with several other big biz groups. But they didn’t just reach across the aisle and vote with compadres—Republicans provided cover for three Assembly Democrats in targeted seats who couldn’t or wouldn’t vote for the cap and trade extension.

That’s how phony this deal is. Think about this: there are three Democrats who are in targeted Assembly seats, so they didn’t think voting in favor of extending cap and trade would sit well with their constituents. They didn’t have any real system of ideas and ideals that forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy. They are just counting votes.

Let the cap and trade ponzi scheme drive out business and drive up costs. Darwin is working.

The California GOP is what delivered the Governorship to The Arnold, when they had been given, miraculously, one last chance to champion a fiscally sane conservative. They’re not very bright.

Thanks to the new election law pushed through by Abel Maldonado, a Republican, California voters had to choose between two Democrats for US Senate last November. Write-in votes are not counted under the new law, so if you’re a Republican, your only option was to vote for a Democrat or not vote.

With no candidate to vote for in the Senate race and knowing that Donald Trump had no chance to win California’s electoral votes, many Republicans probably stayed home last November, which may be why Democrats picked up seats in the Assembly and most of the liberal ballot initiatives passed.

Next year, we will probably be choosing between two liberal Democrats for governor.

It is a giant scam. Jerry Brown, the drug added governor, is stealing $2 billion from the carbon tax scam where companies are forced to pay for “indulgences” like in the dark ages. He then gives that money to the train to nowhere.
