Black Chicagoans Ignore Dem Leaders, Pull Epic Conservative Move

By Kim Smith on September 19, 2017 at 3:38pm

Black women in Chicago are coming to the realization that the best defense is a good offense.

Despite Democrat leadership in the crime-ridden city imploring citizens to let law enforcement handle the exploding crime, residents — primarily black women — are thinking for themselves and buying guns for self defense.

The Chicago Tribune reported that nearly 1,400 black women in Illinois have received concealed carry permits in 2017. That number has gone up since last year and is almost twice the 800 who did so in 2014. More than 4,000 black women currently have a concealed carry permit in Cook County alone, where Chicago is located.

Chicago’s violent crime totals are some of the highest in the nation, while the city’s gun control laws are some of the strictest in the country. The city’s gun control laws seem to have left many law-abiding residents in the city feeling helpless, and now they are starting to do something about it.

Here is where the Local NRA needs to do an outreach and sponsor seminars and concealed laws, shooting, etc, for these woman. It can be a great opportunity to show that 2nd Amendment supporters are not anti anything. They are pro-Constitution and pro safety for all law abiding American Citizens regardless of ethnic background. Fox News and Drudge covers it and it blows the leftist narrative and maybe more and more Black citizens can realize that there Conservative values that they actually believe in and share.

If you are asking “Open Carry”, No.

Otherwise any qualified IL CCW holder can carry “on the streets”.

Some literally last minute political bs allowed cities to make laws before state preemption prevailed. As I say i think the restrictions only apply to long guns/”assault rifles”. The only two places that come to mind where they did this were Highland Park and (naturally) shitcago/Crook County. Even at that, you can buy anything you want at Cabelas in Hoffman Estates...which they foolishly put in Crook County.(1 cent tax per rimfire round,5 cents per center fire round, $25 for a firearm, and ta da- a 10% general sales tax!!)
