Christie can also be unpredictable and turn.

I say Rudy Guiliani. I think he’d LOVE to take on this bunch.

That idea is actually good, it has merit.

Unfortunately, Rudy has aged an awful lot in the last year. He’s in his late ‘70s and a little elderly for this assignment at this point. I’m thinking Trey Gowdy is fully up to the challenge, and willing to do it.

Ten years ago, Rudy would have been optimal. Now however, he may be too old.

Surely you jest.

The Law and Order president and his worthless AG won’t touch this.

Another rabbit for the media to chase down while Trump continues to reverse every Obama policy out there. Do you really think Sessions is AWOL and not working on this. It’s called deception, and Trump is a master at it. He will drop the hammer when all the pieces are in place.

Giuliani’s consulting firm has Russian clients. Like most Russian big business, those clients have ties to the Russian government.

Wrong. The uranium deal is galaxies beyond Sessions’ abilities to comprehend, encapsulate, reduce to sustainable charges and then prosecute. It is *STILL* not entirely clear (to me) that whatever was done with Russia’s acquisition of 20% of U-One was anything more than a STOCK TRADE. It is not clear (to me) that it gives them rights to the physicality of ONE GRAM of uranium. It is not clear to me that the US even has jurisdiction over the deal because it is not clear that Uranium One is even a US company!

HRCs mishandling of classified documents is pat, proven, reluctantly admitted to by HRC both verbally, by lying about it, and ratified by her behavior; and by James Comey, it is settled, it is well over 1,000 felonies each punishable by years in the slammer. If Sessions cannot or will not prosecute such low hanging fruit he can not or will not prosecute anything. This goes absolutely nowhere except into the mists of forgotten political lore.

Yawn. Nothing will happen. Nobody will go to jail. We live in a society where there are people above the law. Face it.

I 100% agree. And he engages brain prior to opening mouth.

Uranium One has the rights to a lot of uranium.

The NYT (!) had the details several years ago:

When do any Republicans ever stand up?

Sessions recused himself from “any Russia investigation,” so he can duck this one, too. He is worthless to cleaning up this stinking scandal.

There is a common element in the Russia-Clinton scandal and the Russia-Trump scandal, but I just can’t put my finger on it.

Oh wait, I have it. It’s Russia.

No, Sessions’ recusal was very specific, quote: “I should not be involved in investigating a campaign I had a role in.”

An FBI investigation into a bribery/influence scheme that took place in 2009/2010 has literally nothing to do with anything related to the Trump presidential campaign. If he claims it does, then Trump should fire him before the day is over.

Fat chance of THAT happening.”

Nah. Remember he recused himself from all things Russian?

“I believe the proper thing for me to do, would be to recuse myself from any questions involving those kind of investigations that involve Secretary Clinton and that were raised during the campaign or to be otherwise connected to it.”
