I have always admired Muhammad Ali's abilities as a fighter but for the life of me, I can't think of one thing he did to make America a better place. In fact in helping to mainstream Islam (along with Lew Alcindor), it can be argued that few athletes have ever done more to undermine America.
Well he definitely made my Sundays better. No longer do I waste a perfectly good Sunday afternoon watching football on TV. Last Sunday I went hiking in the woods.
